well there are two transformers it was based upon, technically only one was a transformer (that being Demolisher), the other was a Decepticon Pretender disguised as Alice in Wonderland

Huh, I knew about Demolisher, but not about the other one. I was born the same year Transformers first came out, so, and I am ashamed of this, I don't know as much about the older transformers. By the time I was old enough to form coherent memories, Beast Wars was on, and I didn't care for Beast Wars.

oh me too, I grew up on the G1 series (still have my original G1 Optimus Prime). Didn't really like Beast Wars, I thought it was a pretty poor prequel to the transformers series. The live action movie renewed my interest, and Revenge of the Fallen I simply cannot wait to see. Just bought the original score to the movie today and loving every bit of it.
