Abstract Gender - Chapter 4 Added!
Abstract Gender, the TG webcomic that actually gained quite a following years ago, has FINALLY returned to existence! The comic is gone, but I am thrilled to announce that I am putting it together in general story form to make a sort-of novel for Abstract Gender. There will be a lot smoother plot lines, lots of new material, better character development, and no awkward art changes!
The story is being actively posted on my dA located HERE I've also been posting stuff on a new AG facebook page! Whether you're an old fan of the comic or a new fan reading AG for the first time, I truly hope you enjoy reading AG. I also really hope it lives up to some of the expectations that some readers may have built up with the years of jerking them around with the "will he / won't he continue it" BS Please be gentle with me!

Re: Abstract Gender - Novelization of the webcomic (offsite)
Hi Rayne!
AG was one of the first TG comics I ever read. I really enjoyed it, and look forward to reading the written version. |

Re: Abstract Gender - Novelization of the webcomic (offsite)
I hate to say it, but I totally lost track of AG awhile ago. I loved this comic! While I wish it was still around (liked the varying art styles and always been one for comic story medium), It's good to hear the AG story will continue in written form. I will be keeping better tabs on it this time around.

Re: Abstract Gender - Novelization of the webcomic (offsite)
I am glad I was successful in reaching out to those who lost track of it. On dA I have 630 watchers, and not even a half of those probably use dA anymore, so I got wondering 'where are all the other AG fans and how can I get their attention?' So I asked Major Kerina and she pointed me here and one other tg forum (which I'm still waiting on my notification email grrr) and I'm excited to see that people who weren't yet aware of the return are getting interested again!
If I go AWOL this time I'm going to get lynched, I just know it.

Wow I remember this. I used to love that webcomic, shame that we wont be seeing artwork for it this time round but I'll be reading.

*runs over and shakes Rayne's hand*
I'm not sure if you're real, or a hallucinationary side effect of smoking that weed, but it's great to see you Rayne, used to read the comic when it was being updated. It was a favourite of mine, good to see it's comming back to life, although now I can't just look at the pictures to figure out whats happening. T_T

I really loved this webcomic. It was one of the first I regularly followed. Glad to see you are still active with the story. Hopefully, someday, you can get an artist to draw new comics but if that doesn't happen, I still be happy to read the novelization.

Re: Abstract Gender - Novelization of the webcomic (offsite)
I am really not interested in trying to do it as a comic again-- as much as I loved seeing how the characters looked and reacted, it's just not worth trying to deal with it all again
Besides, with the revisions I'm making from the story, it'd have to be a complete reboot of the comic and I just don't see that happening either. Maybe if I win the lottery I'll hire an artist to draw AG as a full time job, lol. I am thinking that a donation pool to get a cover made for each chapter (via commissioning artists) might be an idea, but I don't see too many going for it.
