Curious Thoughts: Fiction Commissions
Hi there,
Though the title of this thread may seem fairly unambiguous, it does require a little explanation to avoid misrepresentation, presently. As some here, and on other forums may know, I have been a member of the Process for a while and have peppered my membership here with numerous stories and fictions; some on the TG forum perhaps recalling my "Code" series of anime/franchise inspired TG stories, while I have attempted more contained excursions into other transformations genres, and their associated forums too. Considering this, and other salient factors over the recent years, I have begun considering the feasibility of perhaps - a very tentative thought - considering a commercial aspect in opening literature commissions in the future. As this notion is still developing, please consider this a fairly broad, early consultation with all views and perspectives welcome, as I would be interested in other's thoughts on the subject . Thanks again, Alchemical Night. |

Taking commissions could be a good idea to broaden your writing experience and challenge yourself. Of course be ready for some possibly crazy things to write that you yourself may not be interested in. It might be slow going at first, but possibly very rewarding!

Personally, I think it is a wonderful idea if the writer is skilled enough. Writing about ideas not your own is difficult, at best. That being said, if the subject matter is something you want to write about, and the restrictions or stipulations are manageable, then it can be a fantastic way to generate a little revenue while creating new material.

Hi again, Ah, yes; I recall that now, and vividly too. The idea certainly has potential, and could very well be an interesting prototype commission, if things went in that particular direction. Thank you again for reminding me, as I do appreciate it, Jake . Thanks, Alchemical Night. |

By the way if you do choose it, it will be TG right, guy to tomboy? I wasn't sure I was specific.

Re: Curious Thoughts: Fiction Commissions
I think it's a great idea. A good way to challenge yourself and grow your own unique writing style (and generate a small income on the side.)
A word of warning, try to avoid this becoming work as there is no more sure fire way to kill your passion for something than to take the enjoyment out of it. That being said I wish you luck in the world of modern fictional enterprises
