To be PLAYABLE you want 2ghtz processor, 1gig ram, and a 256 mb (dedicated) gfx card (geforce 6000 series will do, MAYBE upper 5000's)

I tried the game on a comp with 512mb ram and a 2ghtz Pentium 4 processor with a 256mb(dedicated)GeForce 6800, and after letting it load the area, it stalled on the load scrren every time.

Also, keep in mind that VISTA itself takes 512 ram, for a VISTA system you want 1.5gig-2gigs for this game.
FX5500 And before DO NOT WORK ive tested them

Sure, anyone can.

1) Pick a nice hot day, start around 10-11 am.

2) RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN! (Could take several hours.)

3) Don't drink any water.

how important would dedicated video memory be? I only have, like, 64 MB of it.

Depends. Do you like detail in your textures, or should all the branches just be a brown line with a green splatter around them?

probably something in between... I'd be content with slightly better-than-morrowind graphics, I guess. I'm there for the game.

Dedicated video memory, I would assume, is the stuff on the video card. I know that there are some stand-alone cards that get half of their memory from the system though. I try to avoid those.

Glad you have a way to buy and potentially return computer games. Most stores that I know of will only allow you to exchange opened software for the exact same title. I.E. Oblivion for PC exchanged for Oblivion for PC.

Well, I'd probably buy it on ebay used, then resell it if necessary.
