Also, keep in mind that VISTA itself takes 512 ram, for a VISTA system you want 1.5gig-2gigs for this game.

Dedicated video memory, I would assume, is the stuff on the video card. I know that there are some stand-alone cards that get half of their memory from the system though. I try to avoid those.

Glad you have a way to buy and potentially return computer games. Most stores that I know of will only allow you to exchange opened software for the exact same title. I.E. Oblivion for PC exchanged for Oblivion for PC.

Well, I'd probably buy it on ebay used, then resell it if necessary.

Or.. you can always pirate it for now, see if it works, if it does.. support Bethesda and buy a copy.
