what changes first and what changes last
Here's one for you guys
What parts of a transformation do you prefer to happen first and which parts do you like to save for last for full effect. Not all tf's have to occur in the same order now do they? Your thoughts on the matter? Last edited by Jimbo; 08-15-2014 at 08:52 AM. |

Re: what changes first and what changes last
i like the hands beginning to change first. its a great sign for lost humanity when the thumbs and ability to grasp things becomes completely useless FIRST. its awesome. ;3
and last? i guess the muzzle/snout? its sort of the ultimate thing to lose last IMO. your face changes slightly throughout the entire transformation, and then loses all semblance of yourself at the very end is just...yeah. ![]()

Re: what changes first and what changes last
There are way too many ways to describe the perfect TF for me, owing to the fact that there are so many animals for a girl to morph into. I'd have to say one of my favs is for the fur to sprout first as it kinda' gives an indication into what animal she'll be turning into., followed by the limbs changing simultaneously with the tail growth. Last but definitely not least, a muzzle/snout transformation for the face.

Re: what changes first and what changes last
For me its all about from top to bottom or bottom to top, its like something beyond you control it starts one end and takes over a bit at a time. In Some tf's the one affected will try and hide it but you can only cover up so much. Hands, even thumbs are quite a big part of being human *nods* suddenly having. Paws, hooves, fins, wings, claws, tenticles to start with would freak anyone out to no end.

Re: what changes first and what changes last
Kind of depends on what they turn into, I like it when the subject becomes an anthro of the animal they're becoming until they go full transformation. Usually like to see extremities start, like small changes gradually building up- ears, nails, tail, fur/scales in discreet locations.
Last thing to change like I said would be actual form, or face.

Depends on the species in question

Re: what changes first and what changes last
First: The "subtle" things. Small, barely visible hairs/fur/Scales/whatever or pointy ears, wider nose... depends on the type of TF but basically the things the "victim" does not notice right away or that even when noticed it can ignore or hide.
Last: Again depends of the theme of the TF but I'd go with the mind, when the human thought becomes entirely replaced by that of the new species. Or, in the case of no mind changes taking place, I'd go with the already mentioned face/head change.

Re: what changes first and what changes last
As a general rule, I start with subtle changes and work towards some more visible changes. That said, I prefer when TFs aren't a piecemeal process, but a continuous one that affects various parts of the body at the same time, so I reject the whole "first change/last change" framing. So for a werewolf transformation, rather than describing it as something like:
1. Claw growth 2. Fang growth 3. Change in eye colour 4: Tapering ears 5: Extra nipples 6: Fur 7: Tail 8: Muzzle 9: Mental change I would describe it as: 1: Pain in the cuticles, gums, and lower back (signalling the beginnings of claw, fang, and tail growth, respectively), subtle fur growth (back of hands, sideburns, pubic region), subtle mental changes (aggression, or, since I often write TF erotica, horniness). 2: Claws and fangs begin to visibly grow in. Fur thickens and spreads a little more (existing fur thickens and now there's sparse fur on the arms, legs, shoulders, and back). Nub at the end of the coccyx is now visible. Strange sensation in the chest area (signalling the development of extra nipples). Mental changes become slightly more pronounced. 3. Claws and fangs have grown in. Ears begin to taper. Eyes change colour. Fur thickens and spreads even further. Tail is slightly longer (say, six inches). Extra nipples are visible. Pain in the face signals changes to facial structure (ie. muzzle growth). Mental changes are even more pronounced. 4. Ears fully tapered. Fur covers most of the body at this point. Tail is still growing (say, 12 inches). Visible facial changes (heavier brow, partial muzzle). Mental changes are now at a point where the subject has a tenuous grasp on her identity. 5. Transformation concludes: fur grows in, tail reaches full length, muzzle is fully developed, and mental changes are complete.

Re: what changes first and what changes last
I agree with most people here.
First, as others said, subtle things that would not be very "disturbing", like pointed fangs or ears. I like it when we could see a woman TF in the intial stages just as "herself". As last, for me it's the face. Simply because when the human face disappears, so does the "human", and then the beast surfaces. And also because the performance of the actress is the main pillar that makes that a certain TF scene worked. That simple. |
