Proof that overdone muscle growth can ruin anything.

Indeed.
It's like looking at a dude eventually.

Re: Kim and the ring (BE, FMG, growth)
Permit me to strongly disagree with an ignorant statement. It depends on the drawing style of the artist more than anything; certainly not the generalization you seem to believe.
Now while I would say this topic belongs in the growth section far more than here, at the same time I would issue a polite "stow it" to the negative statements. It doesn't have to be positive, but if your commentary isn't going to at least be constructive then do spare us. Now, as for constructive criticism I'd say the one thing I recommend is to tone down on the hands just a tad. That's the one part that really comes across as a bit too manly. Take my advice as you will, just something to consider down the line.

Very nice, and certainly unique way for the muscles to grow (admittedly make sense if the its the ring)

Re: Kim and the ring (BE, FMG, growth)
Well increase in musculature to me is a more delicate practice than most inflation and expansion processes as it affects the entire build of the subject rather than selectively adding body fat somewhere.
Suspension of disbelief breaks entirely for most if you have uneven mass so joints would snap in two from the pressure or you have ultra cut muscles that don't even exist. I like the process itself from an artistic standpoint but the end result..... Last edited by Marmalade-Beat; 05-20-2010 at 12:41 PM. |

2. For me, style has nothing to do it; I simply think overdone muscles do not look good on anything or anyone, and that includes guys. I'm not normally one to go into topics just to complain about content, but when you throw what is clearly just a GTS/FMG work at me and try to claim that it's BE, you can bet your ass I'm going to say something about it.

In the title. That you clicked on. Also, saying that someone else's fetish is bad while saying that they should have had BE is kind of ignorant and/or hypocritical. >_> |

Re: Kim and the ring (BE, FMG, growth)
Pay attention. I didn't say the fetish was bad, I said that I didn't like it, and my problem was that what was pretty much a purely GTS sequence was posted in the BE forum. This belongs in Growth, not here.

Re: Kim and the ring (BE, FMG, growth)
If we're going to argue semantics, overdone would generally be muscle proportions or definition beyond the realm of reality even for males.
Liking the fetish or disliking it as a whole has nothing to do with it having artistic limits for the majority. On the other side, yeah, Pyro could have handled that better. |
