Alpha Demo!

Hey everyone!

Alright! Well, this game is still gonna be full of bugs and kinks to work out, so if you find any PLEASE log them and let me know. Keep in mind this is a very very early alpha build and is not meant to be fully functional.

It won't load up for me. Says the game file is unreadable.

Hunger goes into starve a little quickly, but other than that a good start. I'm curious on if you are going to branch out the story developments considering the changes decisions should make and the changes.... changing should make. Such an idea sounds like a bit excessive of outlining though.

Asks for your name. Info in Window already says your name is John before input.

"Suddenly you warm and hear an odd noise.

You reach up to remove the collar only to find that the latch is fused and try as you may you can't remove it.

First part of quote doesn't seem to make sense. What warms? Needs more description. Second why would I suddenly try to remove the collar when I've simply walk into the bathroom? Is that what warmed?

After that quote and clicking continue got an error regardless of what room I go into. Unrecognized Guid format. Quote of full error text here: http://pastebin.com/DPuFgKBr . This error happens every time I put on the collar and then try to exit to any room. However, if I try to exit the room before putting on the collar I can advance.

So...is your PC naked the entire time she's talking to Tanya now? Seems...awkward. But character image obviously has clothes on which don't look baggy.

Suddenly you can hear a scratching noise and you look to see your new name being insribed on the tag, it now reads,

After this why do I have to ask her again. Since I obviously can't leave the room, before I do why not just have it auto advance to next conversation point?

Medicine cabinet right click menu only says "k". Clicking on it does nothing.

Can fill glass of water in Kitchen. But can't drink it.

Well on first play through after finding bug got a long tounge and some fur. Can't figure out how to advance it any more then that. Expect that is it for the beta. Also hope when talking to Tanya up in her room noticed a couple things. No dialogue for the other two options other then embrace it yet. Expect that'll come later as this is just alpha. Also when I went back when I clicked the cancel option she gave me the ring not before.

I do like how if you pick the same name as you had before she just names you Bitch.

Overall nice start. Obviously not done in a lot of places but looks like it'll have interesting elements for sure. Hope my rambling set of bug/spelling/grammar reports/corrections help a little.

Yeah, the Rags system makes stuff like that hard, but I will try to add slightly divergent paths later on in the game.

Thank you for pointing out multiple spelling and grammatical errors, though not really bugs.

the GUID error came from the naming of a room at doesn't seem to go away, usually just clicking continue fixes it.

you are naked during the conversation with Tanya, that will be made more clear and less weird later when you ask her about herself. There are clothes in the room that you can wear which is what the female portrait is based on.

The reason it doesn't auto advance is because other than pausing the game or having you click on another action there is no real way to segment text blocks. So you would have about 3 pages of text to shift through all at once. By giving the player a smaller amount of text bits at a time it allows them to more easily read through and not be overwhelmed by a small novel.

There is also a dialogue that you get if you choose the name "Bitch" for yourself.

There are a few things that are implimented for NPC interactions, but in the future I will be adding a variable for thirst as well that you can quench with the glass (and possible other items )

I did name a few. That crash on leaving a room was not resolved for me when clicking Continue. The give the ring option is off. Also there's a lot weird when you go to her apartment with it saying she told you to wait...After you go into another room.

I really liked where this game is going. Despite the bugs, it was a very fun game. My only suggestion is that Lita is somehow worked into the game more. I really like the idea of her being turned to Hecate also. Maybe, after your character is fully turned to Hecate, you go on a "quest" as Hecate's servant to transform more people for your godess. Good luck on the programming!

It doesn't really "end" but you run out of things to do after the first TF and you've spoken to Tanya and perhaps run into Lita

I thought it was pretty good for an alpha demo. I think in the future, if you could have some variation in the more repetitive activities, like eating, it may help, but that is secondary to working on the main stuff.
