[Request] Images for Custom Races
I'm not sure if this counts as being "process related" as the images themselves aren't, but rather the purpose is, sorry if that doesn't count.
I'm running a D&D game with lots of sexy fun, and so have made a custom world with lots of custom races. The problem with custom races is that there's no images for them, so I can't make tokens to represent them in combat. Unfortunately I'm a university student and every penny I get goes into paying for that. So I figure I'll just post the custom races here and see if any spark peoples interests. Some of these wouldn't be hard to find images for, but I'm posting all of the custom races anyway. If you want more details on any given race please let me know! Mehnagon: Genderless creatures made of pure essence taking physical form by controlling special crystals, often wearing pieces of armor. They trade in essence, the magical manifestation of memories. All Mehnagon share a single hive mind but each one has a slightly different personality. Torgar: Northern tribe of extremely hairy beast-men. Generally the size of half giants or larger, they have snowy white fur, hundreds of sharp teeth, four fingers with massive claws, and live solitary lives alone or with a single mate. They have mouths wide enough to fit an entire goblin in and a strong enough jaw to bite them In half. Despite appearances they are smart enough to use basic weapons and guerrilla tactics (haha, puns), controlling the Flurry Craigs from within the cloak of blizzards. They dislike being seen, often becoming incredibly violent when looked upon. G'lolom (Gel-men): a species of slime people derived from the strongest gelatinous creatures by the Mehnagon. They are able to maintain basic structure but prefer to wear a cloned humanoid body as a shell, replacing all blood within it with their mass and filling all empty spaces with themselves. They are quick and tough, making use of their lack of pain sensors and true form to an incredible degree, even incorporating slits in the body to allow them to squeeze out at a moments notice either to flee or strike. R'uit kmakhk' (R’uit or Apes): A species of Monkey like creatures that are quick to adapt to their current location. All R'uit Kmakhk' are covered in fur, have four arms with sharp clawed hands, a prehensile tail, extremely short legs with prehensile feet, triangular ears, large eyes, and a hinged jaw that allows them to open their mouths so that the top and bottom are at a 90 degree angle to one another. Their mouths are filled with five lines of knife like teeth that regrow after 2-3 days after loss. There are 3 sub species based on location: In the wastes R'uit are tall and lanky omnivores, reaching 8 feet tall with ease. In the midlands they are small and plump herbivores, still extremely fast in the trees they all but lack mobility in open areas. In the flurry they are massive, bulky creatures, closer to gorillas than monkeys they stand on average between 7'0"-9'3" with arms the size of tree-trunks. Po-pon: An alien race capable of partial transformation. They are only ever able to pick one thing to turn into and back from and so do not pick until they come of age at 16 years old. Do to being unsuited to Escains climate and inhabitants Po-pon that intend to visit or inhabit Escain will pick native species of the planet and spend most of their time there in a hybrid form between themselves and the animal. Po-pon are capable of speaking and understanding any language that the creature they imprinted their transformation off of could, but will also always be able to speak their native language. A Po-pons natural form is short, generally between 3'4" and 4'2". They have smooth, light yellow skin that breaks only on the head for a lipless mouth and two big, perfectly circular eyes. Their hands and feet are smooth circles directly attached to the arm or leg that can be squished and pulled like a soft rubber, allowing them to push their "hands" against objects and then hold the distorted club in place surrounding the object to hold or pick them up. Solam: A race of dark skinned humanoids native to the wastes. Supposedly they were once humans who were altered by volatile magic in the wastes during birth to allow them to survive the horrible conditions. They share much of their physiology with humans, but differ in many dramatic ways. Most notable is the fact that all members of the species are hermaphroditic. However male genitalia are contained within their bodies until aroused, and breasts only begin to develop upon becoming pregnant. They have no hair on their bodies, excluding on their equine legs. The fur ends just below the thigh, and the legs end in hooves. They tend to have extremely powerful legs with large hips, thighs, and asses to accomodate. Their hands have only 4 fingers, each of which is slightly more plush than one would expect, the bone being surrounded by an extremely viscous fluid and membrane that protects the bones and accelerates healing. Each finger bears a nail notably more solid than what humans have, acting and growing similarly to claws.Despite the environment they live in they tend to have very soft skin, their bodies prioritizing keeping the skin healthy do to the immediate danger of cracked, dry, or damaged skin. Although not having any hair, their heads are covered in extremely thin carbon lines, very similar to human hair, these carbon lines are extremely hard however, and act as a natural helmet as well as cooling mechanism. Their eyes have two eyelids to avoid dust and sand entering. Their ears are pointed slightly, closer to elven than human, but lay flat against their heads unless they attempt to focus on a sound. Their lips tend to appear fuller than humans as they are filled with the viscous fluid that covers their bones so as to avoid losing liquids if a cut forms on the lips, a common occurrence in the wastes. They also sport long, prehensile tongues that allow them to snag food from nooks and crannies. If the food is prey, it is subject to a type of toxin covering the tongue which causes enhanced sensitivity in the creature to the point that blunt trauma from hitting it against a rock with the tongue will cause it to go into shock. To preserve resources they are incapable of reproducing, or even becoming aroused, excluding during mating season, during which time they go into heat. They have extremely aggressive genetics, with interspecies children often coming out with only their DNA. When impregnated they host the child as an egg for 3 months before laying the egg which will hatch a month later. When another species is impregnated they will host the child in a manner fitting their species and for their own young. Lismora: A race of intelligent parasites that infect humanoids and attempt to establish a symbiotic relationship, communicating with the host using telepathy. They generally reside in the stomach with almost imperceptible ‘limbs’ extending along the hosts veins. From the relationship they gain nutrition, safety, mobility, and satisfaction (they find helping the host fun). The host gains an increased immune system, faster healing from bodily harm, and specialised benefits after the Lismora has learned what the host most needs. The Lismora are a rare species however, having a large number of restricting factors. These factors include breeding slowly, often requiring a dozen years or more between children. Their breeding method is also problematic in its own way, requiring that they infect a female humanoid. To do this, their host must breed with the female humanoid, and obtain consent from the female to infect them. If the female normally bears young by laying an egg, they will lay between 3 and 10 unfertilized clutches following regular procedures, before laying an infected egg hosting the young Lismora. The Lismora will hatch after 10 months at which point it has 1 week to find a host or it will die. If the humanoid normally bears young internally, they will host the newborn Lismora. The newborn will gestate for 10 months, acting like a moderately normal foetus aside from the time. After ten months the mother has a "false birth" during which a failed Lismora will be expelled. If the Lismora is successful it will begin an internal cleaning, gathering all ill, broken, or improperly functioning body parts, encapsulating them in an egg-like shell, and expelling them through orgasms stimulated by the Lismora. When removing parts of a necessary system the Lismora re-creates a functioning double during removal so as not to cause a disruption. If a Lismora host becomes pregnant the Lismora may also request permission to infect the child. Regardless of permission, birth rates for the children of Lismora hosts have a 100% success chance with 0% birth defects. Some people do not like the Lismora however, the reasons vary but normally come down to the following reasons. For one, sharing your body with another creature can be unpleasant if you don't get along, which is rare but does occur. In addition a host will eventually develop "parasite ports" on their back through which the Lismora is able to interact with the outside world via tentacles which interface with the hosts nervous system. The tentacles vary based on the host, the Lismora attempting to maintain the hosts “general aesthetic”. This means that a thin woman will likely have thin tentacles, while a brick wall of a creature will have very muscular tentacles. Finally, they were once starspawn. According to the lore, they were banished from the plain that normally hosts the starspawn for being so weak and frail. They floated around space for a while before arriving at this place were the gods were less than thrilled to see them. But a deal was made: The Lismora promised to never harm their host, to never teach their young that they are starspawn, and to restrict their breeding. They were also cursed to die if they ever earned the permanent resentment of their hosts. The Lismora may perform a “deep cleaning” with permission from the host. During this period a host will appear pregnant. A “deep cleaning” increases the rate of repair for the hosts body, but the problems are those normally associated with pregnancy. Shacul: A race of humanoids who posses a head and a large mass of extremely thin tentacles which they hold together in the form of a humanoid body with arms and legs. The head consists of a structure similar to the “imprinted species” chosen by the parents at birth. The tentacles contain small bone needles which can be used to inject poison. The world sustains a population of less than 100 Shamora at any one time do to low survivability in harsh environments. Normally the population is around 30-40 individuals making up two or three tribes. Reproduction requires a male and female of the species to copulate with divine permission, as with most species. The Shamora poses a unique ability to alter the physical form of those they touch, how this is done depends on the method taught to them by their elders. There are two major methods, each taught by one of the two major groups. The groups are: The Nihcul: A tribe residing primarily in the north that pulls apart living creatures and sticks the pieces together, stitching the bodies with the poison from their tentacle tips. Often called flesh stitchers do to the way they prick at flesh and bone with their tiny needles to insert the bonding secretion, a variant form of their poison. They despise most living creatures, often capturing and dismembering any they find, and adding their pieces to a stock suspended in preservatives. Their method is quick and effective, if not resource intensive. It isn’t effective when dealing with poorly preserved components. The Dahcul: A tribe residing primarily in the mild band that molds living creatures like clay. They insert a paralytic toxin which causes the victim to not feel pain for some time. Once paralyzed the subject is injected with a large amount of ‘putty poison’ a variant of their poison produced by their diet. This poison allows the Dahcul to mold the creatures body like clay, even repairing damaged portions or inserting outside objects into the system. Their method is slow and only works with organic materials, but is more efficient with materials and can be used on any living entity. Emsara: A rare mutation of demons born when one parent is a demon related to sex or lust, but the other is not. They appear to be healthy specimens of the second parents species with the exception of appearing to suffer from dwarfism, possessing small horns and a thin tail tipped with a spade. These demons do not get satisfaction from sexual acts or lust such as their parents, but rather from spending time with those possessing a healthy amount of self-esteem. To this end they will perform actions to improve the self esteem of their targets so that they may gain sustenance. They suffer from frail bodies and lack all combat capabilities, as well as possessing rich magic cores, for this reason they are often hunted and killed, surviving rarely beyond 30 years. Menoevol-lukkeven (Meno): A chimera made by a madman attempting to become an archmage. They posses the lower body of a “cow” including a large udder which conceals the equine male genitalia, large “snow leopard” hind legs, front legs of a “rock”, the tail of a “furred dragon”, the upper body of a “drow” including three sets of breasts from a “succubus”, a “minotaur”, and a “dwarf”. They have three sets of arms from a “gnoll”, a “goliath”, and an “orc”. They have a pair of “blue dragon” wings on their back, but are unable to fly using them. They have the heads of “gnomes”, giving them a young, innocent appearance. They have retractable “shark” teeth in front of their gnomish teeth, and tend to have long black “arachnee” hair. Any specimen may be lacking any single feature. Their upper and lower body can be positioned as a centaur like position, or be lowered to walk on arms as well. The species is hermaphroditic with lifespans up to 300 years and spawning periods up to 100 years per egg. The man acquired samples from the specified species of sufficient mass to perform a “raise dead” ritual for a large centaur, and attempted a modified version of the ritual to combine the portions into one chimera. The process succeeded, however it ultimately ended up killing the man and escaping into the wild. Dosmata: A species of living dolls, with varying qualities based on the culture they are created in. They reproduce by capturing souls before they leave a dead body, then creating a new doll to insert the soul into. The major variants are: cloth dolls that appear similar to a child's toy. Clay dolls, which resemble a crude humanoid made of mud and clay. Straw dolls, which resemble those used in rituals and curses. It's unclear where the original Dosmata came from, but they appear content to work almost any job, for relatively low pay. Not having to eat, drink, or sleep they are sought for many occupations, although the eerie unlife they represent often results in them losing the job shortly after. Dulcine: A race of living food people, it is unknown where they come from. They have incredible regenerative abilities, and fight by forcing portions of themselves into a target, quickly causing them to bloat to the point of immobilization. In addition, they are extremely addictive, resulting in an inability to resist them after only a couple of spoonfuls. This is apparently also extremely pleasurable for the Dulcine, which are often found feeding one another for no reason. Once bloated to immobilization, the target is then swallowed whole by the Dulcine, and slowly converted into a Dulcine egg, which is then laid, and allowed to hatch into a new Dulcine, still housing the mind of the original creature, but with an incredible urge to feed itself to others. Korami: A race appearing similar to small monkeys, with wings instead of arms, a bird tail over their monkey tail, and feline ears capable of swiveling 180 degrees and laying flat on their skull. Most Korami have beaks, but some rare exceptions do not. Roshel: a race of lizards with hard scales lining the back. They may curl up in a ball and roll around, encompassing their body in the scales for protection. There ya go, my mess of races. Thanks for reading ^_^ |
