This book was Released back in November and was Published by Seven seas the same folks who do the Monster Musume and 12 Beast manga.

its a mature rated 237 glossy full colour hardback A5 size Encyclopedia about all the Breeds of fictional monster girls from Werewolves to Succubus's.

most of the monsters come from what they refer to as the Monster Realm (think Slayers or legend of the over fiend).

but there are also a fair few that are born from Human women being infected or Turned and this book goes into to detail about such things as the "transformation from Human woman to Monster", " their biology" the "habitats" "relationship with human men and breeding and mating habits" and "their nature/ temperament"

there are over 100 species in this volume 1 alone.

I picked my mine up for about £17 English money price on the back says $29.99 US but I think you can find it cheaper if you shop online

I have included a few photos of the mainstream monsters but whatever your fancy I sure you'll find her in this book. the art is really top notch and each girl has a few pages devoted to her


its a really nice book for anyone's TF collection

I've always thought that the extreme sexual nature of every creature in the encyclopedia was weird, and I've seen agreement among other western fans, but the original creator did have a response to that. It comes down to the difference in fandom in east vs west.

In the west there's a push for fandoms to make it big, go mainstream. Look at Marvel, Star Wars, or the "geek aesthetic". In japan it's entirely different. These hobbies are expected to be private, and so they are kept that way. Becoming more inclusive is antithetical to their very purpose.
