Street Fighter World Cup

Since it's been a while since General Discussion had some new replies, I decided to make a new thread.

Street Fighter World Cup is my idea for a new Street Fighter Game. The idea is that the 32 characters are all from different countries and have to compete in a tournament reminiscent of the (Soccer) Football World Cup. Characters I made up have a * next to them.

Male characters - Ryu (Japan), Ken (USA), Sagat (Thailand), Zangief (Russia), Dhalsim (India), Vega (Spain), Dee Jay (Jamaica), Abel (France), El Fuerte (Mexico), Hakan (Turkey), Rashid (UAE), Gerald (South Africa) [Ken's ending in SF3], Biff (Ukraine) and Grater (Australia) [both from Saturday Night Slam Masters], Arkane (Poland) [SF Movie], Manuel (Mozambique)*

Female characters - Chun-Li (China), Cammy (UK), Rose (Italy), Juli (Germany), Juri (South Korea), Elena (Kenya), Santamu (Ethiopia) [a Shadaloo Doll], Laura (Brazil), Hoimei (Hong Kong) [Yun's Ending in SF3], Blair (Monaco) [Street Fighter EX], Ruby (Norway) [MvC2], Mary (Ireland) [from some obscure Chun-Li game], Althea (Singapore)*, Emma (Canada)*, Widelene (Dominican Republic)*, Anna (Netherlands)*
