Transylvania Pet Shop muscle growth?

Out of curiousity, I was wondering if anyone had ever snagged this clip. Transylvania Pet Shop was a UK cartoon from the 90's. The plot involved a mad scientist called Sidney Zitbag setting up shop in an abandoned castle in his hometown of Transylvania. Although officially a pet shop, there was a history of inventing in Zitbag's family and he was often trying to come up with something as a get rich quick scheme. He had 2 neighbours, twin sisters who were based on the bride of Frankenstein (most of the characters were parodies of horror movie types), one who liked him and the other didn't. Always trying to woo them, in one episode he gives them free samples of a beauty cream he's working on. As they later admire the results in the mirror they suddenly become somewhat muscular and their clothes partly rip. They then spend the rest of the episode trying to hunt him down and I think eventually use the unwanted muscles to beat him up.

Yeap, at Shegrew I heard about it and did a search on eMule and Kazaa but had little luck as I found only a couple of those vids, however been luckier lately and if someone have the complete title and number of the episode I can do another try with crossed fingers, later I can edit the juicy parts for everybody.

That happens when one doesn't write down somethin', you know? :P

Hi I actually started the thread at the old shegrew forum but we couldn't really find anything.The episode was a take on the exorcist with the dr posessed by a spirit and therefore unable to help the sisters, as far as my knowledge goes the videos you can buy and that were issued were only the first thirteen or so and this ep came later on in the series, the only help i can give is that it was a french cartoon originally called Dr Globule and searching for that can bring up a site with an ep list but its in french with no synopsis. All the best in searching though, i wish i could remeber the episode name!

i think the episode name is ep 11 - double trouble... !

Hi i don't think thats the ep as i think it concerns zitbags attempt to clone himself in order to marry both exorsisters; however in the process his mind gets switched with a duck so you have two clones of zitbag, one who has the mind of a duck. Good try though, i think the episode we are after was followed by a wild west type ep, that is if they showed them in order on Citv, i only ever saw this ep once and it was in the mid 90s, i seriously doubt it will be found.

Wow, I'm suprised to see other people know what I'm talking about. Usually when I remember these things they're so obescure I'm the only one who seems to have heard of them.

Speaking of, let me throw out another one- anyone ever heard of Maxie's World, an old Barbie wannabe? CITV here used to air it alongside Power Rangers (trends for holidays used to be one show for girls and one show for boys). In one ep, one of her friends is tricked into believing she's obese when she's not. She has a nightmare where the her she now sees herself as tries to get a place on an excercise show. After the host tells her no with a bunch of insults she instead suggests another production she could be part of. Turns out the instructor knows a movie director who's making a film about a giant woman on an eating rampage and the scene cuts to them filming that on a model city.
