April doesn't seem to fit with the background too well... but the pic is cute despite that so I won't bother too much with that detail... her face looks a tiny bit odd though... she kinda looks more like Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, which ain't bad mind you, but pretty well done job overall.

Could you be more specific about the fact that the background doesn't fit that well ? (I am trying to improve) As for the muzzle, she's drawn that way in the episode, I don't know if you've seen it.

My thing with the background is just that it looks like if is done in a style completely different from the pic, so the shading and lines don't really match but using a blurry background from another source is understandable. My little gripe with the muzzle may be just personal point of view really but on the cartoon her cheeks look like they are more puffed out and less straight, kinda like CK01's avatar.

The background is pretty good, it just doesn't match with April pretty well.
