Maleficent

Angelina Jolie is to play Maleficent in Maleficent due to be released this May. Can't find any information one way or the other, but they may be a woman to dragon transformation in the movie.

Here's the link I used: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/maleficent/

Re: Maleficent

There's actually quite a bit of information on Wikipedia about it. No mention of whether she'll transform in this one -- it's apparently a reimagining of the story.

Even if there is a dragon transformation, I would sincerely doubt there being much process involved at all. Gotta keep in mind that it's coming from Disney, and their handling of the werewolf transformations in Once Upon a Time should tell you everything you need to know.

But they did a really good snake transformation in that too. I agree the Red Riding Hood werewolf stuff was extremely lacking in process but not all the TFs in that series were bad.

You are right, but they are not talking about good or bad in terms of "good lighting" or "realistic effects" or something like that... for me, good TF means "obvious and direct TF showing it all, with all the pain and fetish". And Disney ones don't take that way, usually. The nearest thing to what I say is the case of Foxy TF in Gargoyles, that I could consider their best effort to the date.

I always thought Demona's transformations were better than Fox's on that show. They were more numerous, she moaned a lot more, much more clothes tearing and she wasn't hidden under a huge overcoat. Her first TF also had probably one of the best tail growth's I've ever seen on television.

Also as far as I know Disney is only acting as a distributor on One Upon a Time, not a creative partner. As far as Gargoyles was concerned I believe that was a Marvel Comics property that Disney was also distributing back before Disney totally bought Marvel. Basically all along we've been giving Disney far too much credit on these projects.

Re: Maleficent

Yes, nowadays there are many people and companie involved on every new project. But going back to the point, I don't really think that this movie will go "adult" at any stage, let's say, script, visual effects or acting performance.

It wouldn't make sense anyway. Why would a sorceress who is transforming into a dragon of her own free will to get a job done have to go through a painful transformation? Why would there be any hint to sex at all? She's gonna kill the prince, not fuck him.

Of course there is not going to be a sexy TF in the movie, but does that mean it couldn't be a good TF? What with the special effects in movies nowadays and the money that Disney is willing to put into it, I think it will turn out to be alright if there is going to be one.

Re: Maleficent

The classic one's TF was a thing of animated beauty. Not expecting much from this one.

Yeah, Shadow has said it all. But I can also add that it is more than just sex or not, but making "realistic" transformation instead of "poof" or "morphing" ones. For me, even using some kind of "magic" to turn someone, a bit of "forcing something to change into something different" would be deployed in a kind of "organic" way, breaking and reassembling bones, creating deformations and variations in the matter, in conclusion, giving a sense of "this could be happening" in front of your very own eyes.
And yes, the fetish is there too xD.
