I saw how she keeps changing back and forth from a cat. I hope she isn't a cat for the rest of the series and just for the next episode or this particular x amount of episodes arc. It appears because she's friends with the main character only she can be normal whenever they're in a room together and as long as there is a single possibility that another person can see her than she'll turn back into a cat. It's obvious that the girl's refusal to admit she was friends with the cat is part of the cause.

Well the sixth OVA explained the whole thing behind her change into a cat. Everything that happened was the final wish of a cat that she had left behind years ago.
