Just remembered a tonne of great tf stories that disappeared maybe 5 years ago, by the devianart account I believe was called "tdep" (Never downloaded them once ). Had incredibly detailed and surreal animal tf.

What tf material can you remember that was brilliant yet obscurely authored and has otherwise vanished off the internet?

There are a few of tdep's stories scattered around the internet.
I used to talk with him back in 2009, and (as far as i know) he sort of got harassed for opening a second DA account, "tfking", and then simply vanished after that.

I was about to reminisce about the Transformation Story Archive and all the long lost stories from fifteen years ago, but then I googled it.

Holy crap, the site still exists! Hasn't been updated since 2003, but there are a lot of good TF stories to be found there. They're so old that they might as well be new for some people.

I remember Tdep. I don't normally read stories, but I did read some of his. One that I remember involved aliens coming to Earth to abduct our women and turn them into sex slaves. In order to prevent this horrible fate, all of Earths women were transformed (slowly, over the course of about a week) into animals such as cows, pigs and chickens. The story also featured copious amounts of sex, bestiality and scat, which I was not particularly interested in. That story was never finished unfortunately.

Another story of his was called "Pigs in a Cabin" and featured two women preparing to go to a costume party and subsequently transform into Pigs. In a Cabin. That story was eventually turned into a comic by Jim Ripper, and then colored by Kimbawest. The colored version can still be found on DeviantArt here:

I remember a story from dA about a group of friends who is traveling in some medieval-esque setting and the lead character, Sarah, gets transformed into a cat queen because the cat kingdom only has 8 queens to give birth to the rest of the population and one of them was killed. She had this weird golden rod that she used to shave when she first started her transformation. It was about 5 parts, each fairly lengthy, and was one of the first things I ever discovered, probably about 10 years ago now. I think it's been gone since around 2011-2012. I can't even remember the title or the author but if anyone happens upon it, I highly recommend it.

TFTails also had some great stories on dA until they deactivated their account. Each story took a unique spin on a typical TF premise. I've been actively hunting archives and no such luck. I also highly recommend them if you find they ever pop up again!

Hey I made that comic loooong time ago!
If you want the real history I'm not very proud of that, every time I see someone post that thing in some forum or blog and most recently somebody upload a video on youtube.... oh my god my face almost melt in shame but don't get me wrong I love Tdep's work in fact I loved so much that back them I made the comic for free. The best part in every transformation to me is the mental change and Tdep made some really cool ones of girls become nasty animals with lots of animal noises and weight gain.
The scat part.... well I'm not a huge fan of that neither that's why I made two versions of that comic, one with scat and the clean version, in fact maybe the scat is the reason why Tdep retired he told me once that he's getting trouble in deviantart with some trolls and people because of the scat in the stories but he love the stuff and don't want to remove it from his stories, but I'm just speculating, I do not know the real reason why he left is a real shame because he was a really good TF writer, there are lots and lots of good TF artists but not many good writers or at least they are not as popular as the artists are and that's a real shame

The story I've been searching high and low for is actually not a transformation story but rather a tentacle story. I think it was called Ouroboros, and was about a girl getting pulled through a mirror in a department store. I want to say that it was on one of those free websites, like angelfire or geocities, that everybody had in the early 2000s, but I could be wrong.
