A good reason not to buy a Citroen 2CV

Small, lightweight, and fuel effcient.

But fares about as well as an aluminum can in car crash. (It's the red one on the very end.)

Sad thing is, I bet it ranks just weaker than the PT Cruiser. Thats all plastic too.

to be fair, while it did explode, it was set up to take massively more damage than all the others. There was no way the car at the end of the line would take nearly as much damage.

I don't think I'll get one. My car seems to be some sort of miraculous fluke, an 88 LeSabre that achieves better than twenty-five miles to the gallon.

I still don't see how a new fuel pump can make that much difference...

Ask one of the early Ford Focuses, as the fuel pumps fail and the milage plummets down to 15 highway. Depending on pump placement and if it was done by a garage, they might've had to drop your tank and cleaned it up while they were there. Almost certainly cleaned or replaced the fuel filter, which can always help...
