"...The Abyss Gazes Also..."

Ok, Hello. For those of you who don't know me I'm Cherokee_nation, I'm mainly a growth fetishist with some branchings into B.E., TF and sometimes a good Futanari (? I think thats the japanese for DG right? I digress). But I also have a great deal of other interests in life, like comic books, etc. So while looking up a Neitzche (sp?) quote from the Alan Moore comic "The Watchmen" (my 2nd sig line) I found this:

http://www.goldenapplecomics.com/pom...b97/trace.html

Now my question to you is this:

Does this mean somthing? Or is it just a meaningless coincidence and I'm only seeing a pattern becuase I've been staring at the Void too long?

All great idea people always (and I mean ALWAYS) base all their ideas on their fetishes, desires, fears, and apprehensions.

Personal quote: "Desire is the fear of attainment denied."

If one expresses their desires, then one's desires will be expressed. Take Trace Beaulieu for example. He did a series based on private, fan based reactions to bad movies, horrible special effects, less-than-manly men, and more often than not very gorgeous women.

And therein lies the fetishistic quality to his work. A desire of females from a parental era, and presented in a manner where characters are presented as gods and goddesses in "modern" entertainment formats. It's very easy to break it down when you know the material.

And as for me personally? I always stare at the void, for that is my fear. Honest. I suffer from kenophobia, a fear of voids or nothingness. (It's why I can't be put into deprivation chambers.) To know fear is to know your weaknesses and strengths. It's not so difficult to understand.

If that is true, then we need to round up and arrest about 75% of all working manga artists (I'm being conservative here), and practically all doujin artists. After that, we should move onto comic book writers, screenwriters, etc.

EDIT: *snip*
