Heads up about the youtube group

Hey, rumor has it there's going to be a huge purge on YouTube on Sept. 1. Don't know how genuine it is, but it's enough to make me give everyone a heads up. Lots of videos could disappear from the group, if not the group altogether.

So this is your official heads up. Hope nothing happens, ubt it pays to be prepared.

What kind of major purge?

Will it be a purge like the holocaust, a massive hurricane, maybe one of those giant tsunamis?

Or a purge of quality or comedic value?

I suggest finding all the URLs for the pages/videos you want to save and start downloading via http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

This way, all your favorites can be saved.

I also recommend doing this to your FAVORITE VIDEOS list as well just to be safe.

It doesn't take very long at all! Just make sure you SAVE AS with a .FLV extension. You can also download an free FLV player from the same site.

Well then Move everything over to Stage6. Its like Youtube but doesn't suck. Also as far as I know full on graphic stuff is allowed. So no worries about a video being deleted. Also they allow FULL length stuff. I have gotten movies in good quality nearly a gig in size off it. Lastly direct downloads in non-flv format, right off the video itself. Its just about the best thing for us since sliced bread. hxxp://stage6.divx.com/

Man thats just like fucking youtube to do somthing like that!!Just a bunch of assholes if you ask me.All the really good videos get deleted for some crap like,nudity,suggestive stuff,or the most popular of them all copyright volition!!!
To me its all the same bull crap.Also if you've notice,alot of the giantess vids and anime clips are slow disapearing.

These big websites (DA for example) tend to treat their users with less respect the bigger they get.
A little comptetition is in order if this purge happens. I'm checking out Stage6 now.

For what it's worth, Google has also announced that they'll be running some kind of overlay advertisements on YouTube videos, so it may be for the best.
