Girl to Water

SUBJECT: #0032
SEX: F
AGE: 22
HT: 5'5
CDC WAIVER: SIGNED

Subject 32 is young adult female. Assuming any radical events she currently has approx. one hour left in her current matter class. Unlike the other subjects she will remain conscious during the conversion to assess the pain levels involved in complete molecular conversion. Subject 32 is unaware of her surroundings and the nature of the experiment. For her protection during the process, she is currently suspended in a high density magnetic field.

Initiating test...

**ELAPSED TIME 15 MINUTES**

Subject 32 is now fully conscious. Initial panic attack subsided after 8.43 minutes, a full 2 minutes earlier than Subjects 3, 21, 23, 24, and 29.

Subject 32 has completed 12 rotations since she calmed. We do not believe she has fully grasped her current situation as of yet. The effects of the conversion are beginning to become noticeable. She appears to be 'sweating' off excess particulate matter, though she remains thoroughly solid.

** ELAPSED TIME 21 MINTUES**

Subject 32 begins to exhibit signs of apprehension. The effects of the conversion are proceeding as planned. Her body is now approximately 85 percent water. Her skin is becoming porous and a slightly transparent. Subject is about to begin the 'Realization Panic Attack.' Increasing field density...

**ELAPSED TIME 40 MINUTES**

Subject 32 did not have a second panic attack. This variable has been recorded. Field density now at 24.

Based on her increased respiration, it is safe to assume Subject 32 is experiencing a profound fear at the moment, yet she remains in control of her mental state. 32 may have been trained to deal with traumatic situations before. A full post-test background check has been requested.

Subject 32's body is now almost 95 percent water. Her extremities have begun to liquify. Her torso is now almost completely transparent.

**ELAPSED TIME 50 MINUTES**

Subject 32 is entering the final stages of conversion. Like all previous subjects she has instinctively curled into a semi-fetal pose in an attempt to maintain her current density. This shows that subjects can somehow maintain working mental functions even at extreme degrees of conversion...

**ELAPSED TIME 60 MINUTES**

Conversion Complete. Subject 32 is now 99.89% Water. Test successful. Like all subjects she still retains full mental capacity at this stage. This phenomenon requires further study. She can still move, but like most subjects chooses to remain in a fetal like curl in an attempt to maintain integrity. No subject has yet to ascertain that this position does nothing - it is the field that is keeping her together.

**ELAPSED TIME 65 MINUTES**

Shutting down magnetic field. Subject 32 pours onto the floor and down through the grating system on the floor. Subject 32 will now be designated Compound 32. Compound 32 will be collected in a holding capsule beneath the floor drain.

Turning Compound 32 over to the Reconstructive Dept. for further study...

***EPILOGUE***

Compound 32 reconstitution failed. Tests will continue on Compound 33.

Compound 32 Freezing Test: Failure

Compound 32 Neuron Response Trailer: Failure

Conclusion:

Once the initial magnetic field goes down, it appears the compound will never retain a definite shape independently again. After the experiments, Compound 32 was poured into the atom smasher. Her water was split into hydrogen and oxygen.

Letters will be sent to the contacts she specified on her waiver.

Amazing sequence! (Any way you could fill in the gaps with pics???)
Pity she dies, though... aww...
Still, great sequence, and hey, my mind can always rewrite the ending! ^.^

I assume you mean her falling down the drain and or being kept in the canister or whatever while they are trying to revive her?

The short answer is, no.

The long answer is, No, this series is done and I'm not doing it again!

Thanks for liking it though. Just use your imagination. Or draw it yourself! I'm not picky and really don't mind if people repurpose my work for NON-PROFIT reasons, as long as they link to me or my deviant art page and let me know they're doing it.

Really nice artwork and great writing as well. I really enjoyed this and hope there might be more to come.

I like the idea and the art, just not the ending.

Very nice. Reminds me a bit of Aquamaria from Static Shock/ Blood Syndicate.

I doubt anyone besides the artist does.

Re: Girl to Water

it said "Conversion Complete. Subject 32 is now 99.89% Water. Test successful. Like all subjects she still retains full mental capacity at this stage." so would she have become a thinking pile of water? thus defining life? and is now a thinking cluster of hydrogen adn oxygen atoms? maybe shes not dead...
