Race Card TG (Offsite)

I've already posted it on my DA page but I wanted to post it here too because I'm starting to feel guilty about never giving anything back to this forum other than the occasional "cheers for the link".
I hope you guys like it, I've been playing around with a new colouring style and I've been looking for peoples opinions. Also I'm thinking of making the "Race Card" thing a little series, with people switching back and forth into different ethnicities.

So here you go, just a quick little sequence I made to distract myself from the start of classes.

Also the link to it on my DA: http://blackshirtboy.deviantart.com/#/d3am1x4

Between this, WrenZephyr's reappearance and a few other artists like Fuze and xXRyuseiNoNekoXx, there's been a bit of a surge in art like this. I like it

Interesting use of the new colouring method. Maybe if you do chose to pursue this series, you could meld them. Perhaps have the pre and post TG in different styles of colouring. Don't know how well that'd work, but might be interesting to try.

Maybe I could do something like that for like, a cartoon transformation or somesuch. Like a guy who's shaded more realistically, as above, transforms into a cell shaded jessica rabbit. Or something like that.

Re: Race Card TG

don't really know where you got the guilty feeling from as your one of the more prolific artists around.

either way nice sequence, as for the coloring its interesting change.
It has that texture tone that i associate with paint with a more shadowed/gradiated transition.

I can't speak for the whole forum, but don't feel bad about "not giving enough". There are plenty of lurkers who don't even give props to somebody's link. You're a great artist, we are really lucky to have such great talent here, because I remember about 8 years ago when content was really scarce.

As far as I'm concerned, you've paid your dues ten times over already.

Great new artwork!
