A woman accidentally shrinks herself using (seemingly) normal household items in the debut issue of Laundry Day, the new series from the creative team that brought you A Small Sacrifice!



Synopsis: Laundry detergent, washing in hot water, and drying by heat can shrink certain clothes. Through a series of accidents and coincidences, Dawn receives that exact combination and is reduced to about half her height. While she panics, her roommate Nancie might take advantage of the situation.

Dawn has big plans for tonight, but before that happens, she's got in contact with some mysterious detergent.
Due to a lack of towels, Dawn unusual way to dry up makes her shrink.

What a good thing that there is her room-mate Nancy who exploits this situation.
But before the story really gets started, it ends.

To the art:
I liked Dawn's perplexed face expressions and the different perspectives of views.
The best scenes in my opinion were the size comparisons where Dawn is shown how small she is compared to Nancy.

This comic was fun to read, too bad that we have to wait for chapter two to see what happens next.

Not sure what to say with this one.

The story progresses smoothly. It is nice to actually watch her shrink. And the size comparisons are good. I do like the beginning when we see her in her bra and panties.

I do have some problems with it. It does end abruptly. The lesbian angle seems contrived. There are two inconsistencies in the art. First, her panties go from a bikini style to a G-string. Second, when she sees she has gotten smaller she looks to big.

I think it should have shown more of the emotional aftermath at the end. With a more realistic comfort scene. It would be nice if they found the underwear she had on shrank as well.

Over all I think it is average.

Not sure if I will continue giving my opinion on these comics in the future.

It wasn't bad, but we've seen this "girl shrinks for x reason then she has sex" various times already (better night, bully, dream a little dream, shrink-o-vision ecc.); getting to the point is obviously good but it would be nice to see more stories that develops the causes and/or consequences of the shrinking ("a little competition" was my personal favourite in this reguard).
It would be nice even just some variety in the scenarios, sun surf shrunk manages to do that just by adding multiple girls for example.

I did love Scridram's original Laundry Day story from back in the day. Comics for me are too short (ha - size joke?), but I bet others will love this.

Normally, if you accidentally shrink something in the wash on Laundry Day, you donate it, or throw it out, or at the very least don't shrink it again. But in Nancie's case, what got shrunk was her hot roommate Dawn... who's now powerless in Nancie's hands!



Synopsis: A fluke combination of laundry detergent, hot water, and hot air caused Dawn to shrink to thirty-one inches tall. Now she’s at the mercy of her roommate Nancie (who has been harboring a secret sexual attraction towards Dawn). Is Dawn’s life all washed up? Will Nancie hang her out to dry?

Major issues with this.

Spoilers.

The art is fine, but the story gives me the creeps.

One of the issues mentioned in http://www.process-productions.com/f...ad.php?t=50429 was a large lack of Lesbian focused stories with qzar9999 promising that "there is another part of laundry day on the way, so there's that" And this is not lesbian focused.

This is rape.

This is a bisexual individual forcing their way onto someone not attracted to the situation and continues to tell the larger person this over and over, we even get thought dialog where they clearly state they don't want to enjoy this. (meaning that their body is getting aroused from the action, not from emotionally enjoying the situation.)

This is hurtful to people who don't want their sexuality used as a crutch for a rape power fantasy.

I mentioned in the earlier thread that I would like a: (A "slice of life" casual shrink story of a cute lesbian couple would be to die for.

I'm so very tired of SW stories where the one shrinking is "fearing for their life" over some thing that would make them think they are in danger.

It's always "Oh no, I'm shrinking forever." Or "I'm at the mercy of a cruel master!" Or the ever popular "I'm going to be eaten, stepped on, crushed and have to run for my life!")

This is part of the problem. I understand that these stories aren't centered for me, as they are a large thing for everyone to have a bit to enjoy, but ultimately this felt wrong to read the whole way through and one of the tags needs to be: "Warning, Rape".

This isn't even "Lesbian" as the characters involved are a bisexual, a straight woman forced against her will, and an undetermined man seen near the end.

I do understand your objections to this. As you said, we can't please all the people all the time, but I do get why this in particular bothered you.

You'll probably be much happier with the direction One Extreme to Another will be heading in.

Otherwise I think it is pretty good. The artwork is better this time around in my opinion.
