The Shrink-Chamber
I’ve been experimenting on backgrounds recently.
Especially for new settings such as laboratories. The result reminded me of the shrink-chamber in the story “Short Time” from Scidram. Inspired by the shrinking scenario where a female scientist is trapped within the shrink chamber, I’ve made this little gif. Enjoy Greetings Captain Ash Last edited by Captain Ash; 10-30-2016 at 01:30 PM. |

Re: The Shrink-Chamber
Can I tell you how unbelievably flattered I am to be the source of inspiration?
This is pretty much how I envisioned the scene in my head when I wrote it. To see it visualized is surreal. Thanks so much for creating and sharing this! Oh, and everyone else, you can pick up a copy of "Short Time" here.

Re: The Shrink-Chamber
Maybe it's my monitor but the last bit is hard to see. Can it be brightened up a bit and held longer? I want to see her!

Re: The Shrink-Chamber
@Scidram
I was wondering how you would react if you would see this scenario out of the blue. Glad the surprise was a success! I took the description of the clothing and the appearance of Suzanne and hope they are the same as you have imagined them. Quote:
I think it also depends on the browser. Some do display images darker for some reason. Try to download the pic on your PC. Then it should be better. @HD1000 Thank you! @Twilight_Roxas I have lots of idea. But if I tell you now it won't be a surprise. @Blackbat Thank you! @RedJack Glad you like it! Greetings Captain Ash

Re: The Shrink-Chamber
The best way to darken an image is to just darken the mid-tones but keep the brightest areas near 100%. Your eye tries to undo global changes in brightness, but can't when the rest of the screen is bright. (It looks the same on my phone and computer.)
