Ideas for a TF-based DnD game

I'm running a TF-heavy DnD 3.5 game on FurNet, set in an ancient catacomb once home to a cult of nature worshippers. However... I've run dry of ideas. Anyone know of a website that has pre-made stuff, or good ideas that I can convert into the game?

I especially need Monsters, Traps, and cursed items.

If you have the core rulebooks for DnD, monsters shouldn't be a problem at all. The monster manual has a slew of them, along with its supplements. I'm sure you know that though, so...

This is the best place I know of for homebrew stuff like that. If you're just looking for cursed items that turn people into animals, you could easily make those up yourself. As the DM, your word is absolute; if a ring or pendant turns someone into an animal or monster, then it does, and you are the final say on that.

Baleful Polymorph more or less instantaneously reduces the target to a harmless animal state, so I'm not sure it would fit the OP's purposes.

Seriously, there doesn't need to be any game rule mechanics for this. Just have the data of the animal or monster you want said person to turn into handy; from there, you can do this whole thing through roleplay. As the DM, tell the character what's happening to them, and have them roleplay it out. You don't need to go any further than that. Unless you have a more specific need for the rules?

Savage Species has the anthropomorphic animal "template."
Lycanthropy of various kinds has been covered in various Monster Manuals, both generic and campaign-specific, like the weresnake from Serpent Kingdoms (Forgotten Realms) or the wereraven and wereray from Ravenloft.
Van Richten's Guide to the Shadow Fey is a Ravenloft-specific book that offers information on a type of fey that can make you think you're a horse. It also happens to have a pair of spells that can give the target a single trait of an animal, be it a donkey's head, a set of snakes fangs, a lion's tail, etc.

Rules would be nice, especially for monsters, but my biggest problem is a complete lack of ideas... like, I cant even figure out WHAT to put in there.

I'll look into the shadow fey thing, I never heard of it...

As far as I know, this will turn you into a female monster.

Try combining cursed items with magical items with positive effects, combine the girdle of giant strength (stand strength buffing item) and the girdle of femininity (makes male wearers become female). Finally don't be shy about making up your own transformation curses, a set of cursed elven chain that belonged to a busty female warrior and gives the wearer her body for example. A ring of flight that gives the wearer wings rather than allowing magical flight. Just because it's not in a book or been created already doesn't mean you can't do it, remember your the DM your GOD in your game.

I'm assuming you're more interested in RPG plot ideas than sticking to DnD canon

So chucking rules,canon,players guides,etc

The Dragon

the folk encounter a tavern/inn in the forest and booze/wench/
the night away before retiring for the night

When they wake up the next morning the tavern/inn is gone and
they're sprawled on a stone floor in a dragons lair deep
underground

Nearby is a dragons hoard with the skeleton of a huge dragon
resting on it.

Now dragons are chimeric creatures composed of
-wings of a bat
-head of a horse
-snout of a crocodile
-eyes of a cat
-tongue of a serpent
-neck of a swan
-torso of a elephant
-etc

and the folk learn they've got new issue
-one has increased hearing and sonar ability
-one can run as swiftly as a horse
-one can stay underwater far longer then is humanly possible
-one can see in the dark
-one has a much more elastic bendable body
-one can fly,look backwards
-one has immense strength
And one is apparently uncursed and hale and hearty

So there are traps about the catacombs and the folk need to return to the
surface before nightfall or their curses will take hold and there'll
be a
-big vampire bat
-maneating horse
-crocodile
-tiger
-huge coiling python
-big hungry vulture
-maddened mammoth

where the folk used to be

the traps act as curses or gifts
bestowing the power of a new monster animal on whoever set it off
but come nightfall, producing a more monstrous more
dragonish creature

The person who is apparently uncursed is actually the most
cursed of all,and all the curses dwelling within him/her are cancelling
each another out, giving the appearance of a hale and hearty person
but in reality one who come nightfall is doomed to turn into a good and
proper dragon,to lead his/her monstrous army of animal monsters should
they not exit the catacombs by nightfall

As for slow tf
sliding scale curse/gift

use new power for aa minutes of staying underwater-no problem
use new power for aaa minutes underwater-the person emerges with
lengthening teeth,etc

The traps include "chronotraps"

Lets say its 12 hours till doomsday(nightfall )

our hale and hearty person stumbles in a 12 hour chronotrap
So as far as the curses inside the victim are concerned its now
nightfall
and the other folk watch as their human companion turns fairly
quickly into a nasty dragon that joins the 'dark forces'
