Uneven Growth Sequence #7: Shiori Misaki

For my 7th (and last for a while) growth sequence, I bring you another one from Kojiro Highwind. This girl is a little younger than my last few girls, so for that we don't have ripping, I'm afraid. Still plenty of odd growth, though:

Un-even growth seems to be attaching itself to me. Pensuke is probably to blame for that. :0

He does it exceptionally well.

While it is nicely drawn, I have to admit I have this feeling that it is somewhat pointless. I think it's because if you went from page 1 right to page 6 and 7, skipping the ones in between, you wouldn't even know she had grown. There is nothing to give a sense of scale. The clothes don't look different at all and her body seems exactly the same. That would be okay, if there was something else we could use to gauge her ending size with. The artwork is good and I am not trying to be mean, just giving my honest opinion.

I agree well done, but in the end you can't tell she changed at all.

The jacket in the first panel wrapped around her is wrapped around her neck in the final panel. It's just really hard to see in the sketch.

You should have asked Kojiro to draw something in the background that would have helped gauge it. Even a lamp or something would have done.
Other than that, good series

She's outside in the snow, but yeah. A bush at least would've helped. I'll make note of that in future commissions.

I'm not a huge uneven fan, but this was cute. I noticed the jacket/neck thing, lol, but that's probably just because I know Shiori and how she always has that shoulder shawl on. Always liked Shiori, though personally, I was always a huge Mai fan, but that's just cause I love the stoic, inwardly cute girls. Or Nayuki, lol.
