Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Horrorhill99: Long-time lurker, first time poster.
The fact that I have made my presence known shows how important this video is. That being said: Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. There is currently a series of new Avengers episodes being broadcast in Australia (lucky bastards). Thankfully, the good people of the internet have put up this episodes on the web for us to see. Since the show features the superhero Wasp, aka Janet van Dyne. While she would benefit more for the 'Shrinking' section, there is actually a part of an episode called "Ultron-5", where we see Wasp actually grow to giant size for the first time, albeit temporarily. The clip: While it may not be much, there are possibilities to this now that it confirms that Wasp can both shrink and grow. |

I saw it on youtube today, apparently when Wasps grow, it causes her to have a headache as side effect of growing

Not only that but they depowered Banner in the latest episode. How much you wanna bet he thinks his blood will be safe for a transfusion into another certain individual?
I kinda wish there was more here but it's not a big deal. They showed decent process with the pair of Hulk TFs we've gotten (albeit they're male but they portend well for Jen Walters' inevitable TF) and Wasp's earlier transformation into a monster wasp-girl so they can do it. I would expect She-Hulk to be mostly one-way, though. The emphasis has been on Hulk over Banner this series and I expect the same to happen to Jen here. I can't wait to hear Maria Canals-Barrera voice She-Hulk (c'mon, we all know it's gonna be her thanks to Marvel vs Capcom 3). I don't know if she could pull Jen Walters off though. Might be the first time in Shulkie's history that her two identities have two different voice actresses. Marvel's cleaning house in the animation department lately. The Avengers is the last cartoon created/produced before Disney's purchase. Wolverine and the X-Men bit the dust because of the purchase, same with Spectacular Spider-Man. Iron Man Armored Adventures will be getting its second season but supposedly there was major staff upheaval post-Disney-purchase so who knows how that worked out. Super Hero Squad's in trouble too as Cartoon Network has placed the show in a really bad slot. The Avengers could become yet another, and the final, casualty. Re: Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Yeah, this is all due to Marvel being bought out by Disney. Everyone said it would be good and that disney would let marvel be to do its own thing. But surprise surprise disney is stepping all over marvel.
Really would like to see more straight to blu-ray from marvel. They have had a louse record of doing anything animated after X-men in the 90's. They make good stuff but it never gets time to breath. Not to mention anything we might want to see process wise is going to be washed out because it is airing on a PG station. It would be really nice if they did what they do in japan. Do a 'clean' version for tv then put out a Blu-ray that is non-edited version for adults. Though disney would never do that and marvel is too lazy at this point. So we are pretty much screwed... I mean I like this new Avengers show. It is a good show on its own. If only it would get time to breath and grow its own fan base. However it is on the XD so it is getting shuffled around more than regulation poker cards. Thus death... Not that any of that had anything to do with anything but still. |
