Re: Shadowlord Inc

This brings back memories.

It's a good page but hard to browse for categories that interest me (namely female TFs with process). That's why I hang out on this forum - if there's female TF with process in the media, someone here will point it out.

Edit: I take that back! It's possible to browse by gender!

That said, I don't see any clips that I haven't seen before at some point.

Yeah, there were some bad vibes between members of this forum and the runner of that site... it was good, but now it is completely outdated though. Moreover, he seemed to have some disdain towards something that sounds like "fetish" to him. Odd enough to someone who had a site like that, but I assume that he preferred to keep everything far from "adult" tones.

Regardless of what's happened between members of this forum and Dragoniade, the fact remains that Shadowlord Inc. is the largest collection of transformation videos on the internet. The site is hardly "outdated"--Dragoniade updated it earlier this week--and while its maintainer might not be the most agreeable guy in the world, he's worked extremely hard to keep such a gigantic site going.

Read what dorintf said, and you will understand why I said OUTDATED speaking about his website: old stuff, old website... yeah, there are some new TF things from time to time (I assume) but nothing that could interest someone older than 15 y/o.
And aobut them, I say absolutely nothing, being Shadowlord or Dragoniade good or evil guys... I don't care as long as I go my way and they went theirs. Respect, that's all.

P.S. And there are some guys here who have much more better websites with more interesting stuff. Just have a look here aroud.

Yes, there are new things (if you're "assuming" that, presumably you aren't actually well-enough acquainted with the site to decide it's all old stuff). In any case, Dragoniade runs a transformation archive, and archives are devoted to preserving the past and the present in the best possible form.

Don't be so cocksure. How many other sites are devoted to cataloging transformation clips from TV and film? The only other real competitor is Dutchbull's site, and while it is superb, I'm sure Dutchbull would agree that his collection is not as wide-ranging as Dragoniade's.
And before anyone starts getting snarky, let me say that I am not associated with Dragioniade and have no dealings with him. Putting aside any issues about his relationship or conduct with the Process, I am simply stating an objective view about his website.

Yeah, you got your points... but just two more comments to this (personally I believe that this doesn't deserve such time):

I've been visiting his website many years ago, when he was one of the few who had a large list of "everything" out there, so as you said, it could have been considered as a small encyclopedia of TFs (call it transfopedia xD). But then I began to lost interest, mainly because there was much material, but most of it was not watchable, and the few videos one could have a look were in a ridiculous low quality, even for the standards of those days (maybe 2008 or 2009). So paying a visit there became pointless... and the funniest thing was when they "put" something there, and you could only see a screenshot and a title (translation: thanks for nothing).

And second: I don't share his "catalogation" criteria. I mean, he decided just to restrict himself to PG shows and scenes, and save for certain exceptions, they completely lack interest to me. I understand that some people prefer TF scenes that way and I respect that, but from my point of view, the collection becomes "incomplete" automatically. And as a conclusion, having more videos doesn't mean it "wide range". To the contrary, it becomes too restricted (btw, I prefer Dutchbull site).

But well, everyone has its personal tastes, right?

Re: Shadowlord Inc

I first visited the site back in 2005, and, at the time, it was a Godsend. I was put off myself by how he handled himself, especially during that big hiatus, when he was asking for donations to bring the site back. The whole martyr syndrome, combined with him being an ass with regards to anyone who didn't share his narrow view on transformation media was just pathetic. At this point, I don't think anyone who is familiar with any of that stuff wants to support him. In addition, quality > quantity. For the most part, many of his clips are quite frankly underwhelming. That, more than anything is why his site has become largely forgotten.

First I've heard of Dutchbull. Thanks for the heads up; found a few cool clips there.

Just checked it out nice site overall...though navigation on Chrome at least is pretty frustrating the mouse over menus keep resetting and some of the links don't match the correct vids but over all good selection lot of stuff I had not seen before.
