First off that fine young woman is Mina Majikina from the Samurai Spirits games. And thats not a squirrel its an imp she keeps as a pet.

Thanks for the identification, norm! I did some rooting around and found that she is an archer and is a relatively new character in the series, introduced in the game Samurai Spirits Zero (marketed here as Samurai Showdown 5). I turned up a game screen image, a fan drawing, and a 1/5-scale figure (along with her imp), should anyone be interested in this character...
