That sounds like a reasonable trade.

My request was for an art trade with him. But in any case, it's really up to the artist himself to decide what he wants to do

The animations are really well done and all, but if he wants to start charging money for the animations he will either need to ask the original artists permission to make the animations to profit from OR find an artist willing to make stuff specifically for the animation.

Charging money for an animation that uses someone elses hard work WILL cause problems.

Re: Smooth edit

Hello, process members.

Initially, I'd like to say thanks to all who dropped in to comment on the gifs.

About requests: Naturally, I can't fufill every little image that comes my way. This is still a skill that remains at hobby status for me and I currently don't have any official request board. Although flattered, to avoid the thread recieving any unecessary bumps reguarding a request, I'll have to ask kindly for members to refrain from submitting request material to this thread. If I am lacking material or have some extra time on hand, I will make it apparent and announce my willingness to contribute; currently niether of those conditions stand, so please be patient~

About legality: If I happen to take a request of a particulary descriptive caliber, I may ask for a commission fee in a private setting, but that depends on the raw material.
As a member of the Deviantart.com community, I am familiar with the issue of art theft and I take it seriously. As I've stated before in this thread, I will not charge any fee for a modification on another artists artwork should I accept the request. If the client provides me with personal artwork or a paid commission, a private discussion about the description of the piece and a commission offer will be held.

Although it brings me pleasure to finally contribute to the community, I'm reminded that I can't make everybody happy, as with any field that I work in.
To those that enjoy the edits, thanks again. I'm sure we'll see some more in the future.

-Reg

Re: Smooth edit

Apparently what makes the art theft a TG piece is that the thumbnail has the face blanked out with the word "you" written in it.

It was apparently some sort of flash thing that uses your webcam to put your face in the space.
