Well, the Amnesia angle is somewhat more palatable than the "Rawr, I'm an evil spirit and I'm taking over your body!" plot that it was heading towards. It could be an okay story, but unless it ends with Ji-hoon eventually getting his/her memory back it's just going to be a semi-interesting ride that ended at a boring destination.

I for one am rather intrigued as to how this'll play out (I'm a fan of mental transformation in addition to physical) and will continue to read the story no mater how it plays out. a good story, is a good story, period.

eva is the most original anime of its genre and most memorable ever, its too much of a mind fuck for anyone to talk of viewing quality. Maybe rebuild of evangelion will change this, but all the people who have watched it will never be able to remove the mind fuck that is orange flavored tang.

that and the incident involving shinji and a comatose girl.

It's actually one of the most misunderstood Anime ever. I honestly don't think most people know how to comprehend a series about Giant Psychotic Robo-beast/angel beings that have to be piloted by children with dead mothers and a forklift's load of emotional baggage. It's just a bit much for the brain.

Troll-bait aside, the Evangelion references amount to a Rei-Ayanami-ish girl and a guy in an Evangelion jersey, both in panel 10 of the 31st chapter. If you don't know who Rei is, just type "Rei Ayanami" into Google Image search.
