I have been suspended from deviant art for one month due the following comic (a censored version was posted)

Funny, I had a good response on that one, too. So ridiculous. I was just about to post a quick sketch to find 90% of my deviations were cleansed.

I've been feeling a need to move away from DA anyway, but any advice as to better hosts or forums would be greatly appreciated. Fun times.

Their rules on posting erections are pretty clear. I don't dare post a lot of my stuff there.

It's weird that you would get your dA account suspended when I've seen a multitude of "stock" and "artistic" nude images of people baring their junk in the name of art and to "help" others in their artistic endeavours. Kind of hypocritical really, then again all it takes is a single complaint and you'll find yourself removing entire months worth of work (had a similar problem with my first non-gts dA account after 1 complaint was made) only to find out it would be easier to delete that account and start over

DA's rules are very specific. You can post nudity all you want, as long as there is no visible arousal or sex. That includes masturbation, sex, any penetration.

For men, that's erections, for women that's not really well defined, you really can't show exposed labia. Also can't post vaginal/anal spreading or vaginal/penile bodily fluids. Also any sex toys that look like those things will get you suspended too.

I've been censoring my stuff there for a while :P

They took down work made and credited with the very stock you mention. It was a totally rout. The stuff they left alone is actually worse in my opinion than what got shut out. I'm not that hurt or surprised. The process is one sided and I have no clear idea as to who had a problem or the exact issues that led to the take down--but I see that there is no loss to them and its way easier to take stuff down.

I honestly think transformative art should be in the publics faces instead of banished to these "fetish sites". In many ways our conception of humanity will continue to blur as technology progresses and I think you are going to have traditionalists stopping at nothing to squelch the expression of that. The problem with furaffinity, though I like it, is it can be an insular community. There needs to be transformative graffiti, posters, flash mobs, what have you...

Odd, I did a humor comic page that showed a dildo in the last panel and necer got a warning or anything. Mind you it was very crudely drawn and wasn't inserted into anyone or anything, it was just being held by a girl threateningly.

DA has several mods who bring their own interpretation of what is allowed with them, sometimes to everyone's detriment. Considering there is plenty near porn on the site I suspect your crime is to be insufficiently talented or not catering to a particular mod's fetish.

Furaffinity are clear in their Acceptable Upload Policy that they will ban mature photomanipulations because they cannot verify the age of models used. It's why hitsuji16/indohyus99 had her account pulled from FA after dA wouldn't have her stuff either.
