One of my sister's godparents is an Aussie (she's married to a Brit. They have a winter home in Canada and a summer home in Texas)
My dog is an Aussie Shephard x blue healer
I grow Aussie violets (Viola hederacea) in a basket on my porch and in my bog filter.

It was my gap year between High School and University, Working while I tried to decide what to study and whether I would be doing so in Aus or back home in NZ.
