Also, you are required to have an internet connection even for single player games (oh but it's not always online herp derp), so there's an extra charge (not everyone has home internet). Oh, AND besides making sure you have that, you'll sitll need xbox live to play anything online, so shell out more money. Oh, AND we're watching you through your kinect, which you cannot disconnect without your system becoming non-functional. Oh but we're totally advancing gaming with our new Xbox One! BUY IT NOW SO WE CNA CONTROL YOUR LIVES!

I was really hoping Microsoft could pull this back from the pit but they really dont seem to want to. I'm already going ot pick up the PS4 close to if not on launch day, but I think I'm done with microsoft after all this.

also gaming PCs cost more than consoles and Steam doesnt have all the games ;p Mainly, I'll miss Halo. But even Halo, the series that basically made the original Xbox, has no chance of saving this miserable failure. Guess I'll have to get used to Call of Duty.

They don't cost that much more if you know what you are doing. A next-gen console will be $500-$600, a gaming PC can cost you $700-$800 (if you build it yourself) and can do a lot more. Mind you that's a basic gaming PC, but it'll work just fine.

From there you can upgrade it over time as parts get cheaper, that's the best part about a PC.

In other non-E3 E3 news there's a new Legacy of Kain game coming out! But it's not a Legacy of Kain game. Also it's possibly an MMO. The only thing known about the game is that it probably is not a social card game.

Fighting games give up, adopt the League of Legends model. DOA5 and Tekken are both becoming free-to-play.

And because everyone else is doing it, here is my totally baseless pricing assumption:

PS4 will launch with $449 and $549 price points. The $549 model will include Move, a Media Molecule game, and a few other trinkets.

The Xbone will launch at $99 with a cable subscription. There will be a $199 model (also with subscription) that includes DVR. The DVR version is the only version that will be sold in Japan. Europe might get both models.
