Re: Process Veteran Appreciation Week!
Been here over seven years now, although my participation comes and goes. I've been in law school for almost half the time I've been around here, which explains why I'm not often on. Just don't have the time for all the things I like. I still put out a story now and then, as I'm wont to do. Though I feel like the community's changed, perhaps grown closer together, since I stopped participating regularly. A good thing, although I wish I could be a bigger part of it. But hey, my IRL relationships suffer, so why not my online ones? XD
I remember when the two mods were Lorekeep and Sutibaru. They had a falling out, I heard, though I never found out what it was about, and I don't think Sutibaru is a mod anymore (and I know Lorekeep is gone). I remember when the Process forum almost closed, but was saved at the last minute by some financial contribution. Then there was that first Process University RP.

Re: Process Veteran Appreciation Week!
Considering this is a celebratory week, I'd say you're just in time for the festivities!
That being said, I can't remember how long I've followed the Process, though I've seen at least 2-3 iterations (there was a time when the original set of store items were given away after The Process originally went down, though that might just be a mad dream) before its current form. At some point, I decided to formally join this forum about...5-6 years ago, where I've grown to appreciate other types of process-themed content that I would never had given the time of day years before. Lately, I've been something of an inactive contributor: I don't make content, but I try to provide answers/directions in request threads. While I don't always "speak" here as much as I did back then, I try to drop by at least once a day. |

I first found The Process back in mid 1998 in a very early preforum format when it was just a loose collection of some giantess, muscle growth, a few shrink and TF art, scant stories.
I've always felt different about what turned me on, and that was a good long while before I found the net. Hell, I think women growing has turned me on since my Saturday morning cartoon days. I still remember being a kid with my favorite Superfriends episode being about a giantess, and Scooby-Doo having the red head turn into a she wolf. I am so old man. ![]() ![]() The point is this was the first website I ever found that could give a name to my feelings, and in some way a sense of community. I spent a puberty feeling kind of freaky till I got to college, had high speed net for the first time, and then found this site. I still remember how I found it. Had no idea this was a fetish, just was sitting alone in my dorm room one day, and decided to key in some of the odd things that turned me on using the old Netscape search. "Women + growing taller + changing + clothes tear" well it was something along those lines anyhow. The point is finding it helped me feel less freaky and more normal, like a sort of happy strange brew. I've discovered all sorts of offshoots on my tatses, she hulk, muscle growth, were-anthro-you name it type TF's, tried and viewed so much, and kind of honed what I like and what I don't, but also accepting of it. It's all good. ![]() I don't have many posts, as I've lurked and unlurked over the years. Never felt right critiquing other's work, since I myself can't draw for shit. lol ![]() After all the years I still try to pop in time to time, see if anything new popped up, and get the feelings and direction the community is heading in. Been here when art was free and scarce, to people now actually making money with there strangely beautiful fantasies. I look to the day when there are so many members and people who find they like this sort of material we pass each other in the streets and wave hello. Maybe even have Process conventions in Vegas ![]() Thanks for reading my ramblings. _Magnus Knight "I like to find the words for the dreams you dare not share." ![]()
