I decided to take a few minutes and publicly thank everyone who makes this place as goddamned good as it is. I've been following The Process and its various incarnations for the better part of a decade, and yet I think this forums-centric version is the best one yet. There's so much great stuff I can find here I can't find anywhere else.

Lorekeep, of course, deserves the Lion's share of it all. I don't know how many of you guys are aware of this, but LK's gone through a lot for this site- ups and downs all over the place, and yet he always kept his little Pet Project alive through the sweat of his brow. Even when travelling clear across the country to take a job with an uncertain economic future, he kept The Process alive.

Of course, even as great and extensive as the old Process archives were, I'd say that they've been far and wide outpaced by the monumental contributions that pour in here on a daily basis. Test-0, Stuibaru, Jacques, CoffeeMan, Ryohji... the sheer volume of great work coming in so often from so many people is really just staggering. We've had new artists reveal themselves to the world here, we've brought old greats out of retirement, and I couldn't even count the number of contributors whom I've seen improve by leaps and bounds during their tenure here.

And this place is so damn *friendly*, too. Lots of boards have all sorts of rules against requests and begging and whatnnot- The Process has a whole forum dedicated to it, which does exceedingly brisk business from some very talented artists. People like Teefgar have even gone so far as to make a kind of art that can only really be done as a request, audience-participation Process Art that, I believe, has become one of the hallmarks of the forums. All the memes on the various sub-forums are further examples of the uncannily good artist/fan relations on this forum, far above any I've ever seen elsewhere.

So, thanks, everyone, for making this place as awesome as it for as long as it has. I know The Process is my favorite site on the internet, not just for all the great art, but just because it's nice to be here.
