Is there a connection between a TF fetish and wanting new experiences?

A neophile or neophiliac can be defined as a personality type characterized by a strong affinity for novelty. I can't help but think that having a tf fetish and neophilia are related. For me I feel that much of the enjoyment comes from animal tfs, but more specifically from the idea of becoming something new, having new experiences, new sensations, forced or otherwise. I am an avid follower of new technology, futurism and things like transhumanism. novel/new ideas really gets my juices flowing.

I can't help but think that my tf fetish almost perfectly fits into the whole experience-seeking mindset. What do you think about this? and do you have similar feelings?
