See, that's my whole problem, though.
The man is claiming "caretaker" stance over works he cannot legally protect.
When presented with alternatives - like CC0 - his response is "steady on."

That - in my book - makes for a shitty caretaker who, quite frankly, shouldn't be allowed to "safeguard" a child's fingerpainting - let alone some of the Matisses we get around here.
