Crowdfunding question?

Hello, folks.

This is going to sound rather weird and I'd like to get your take on it. Basically, here's the idea:

I am currently going to school for animation, thanks to the great inspiration of Mako and the other animators from the old Siren Song. At the moment, my funding for this school is very sketchy and it's really hitting my finances hard at the moment.

What I'd like to ask is this: What is your opinion about me possibly setting up a crowdfunding thing to help pay for the school?

I don't want this to sound like I'm being selfish here so here's what I'm going to do. For large funders, I'll be providing a custom-made animation of some length featuring transformation, or perhaps a comic or whatever you want (some restrictions on content will apply, basically, nothing illegal). Other funders will get other things that I have not yet decided on (I need to do a lot of research on crowdfunding).

My most recent animation, the Gynethrope, will give you some idea of my skill as of, well, last year. The school will help me get much better at animation and, in turn, provide you with much better transformation videos.

So, what do you think?
