Dr Laurat stared at herself with disbelief. She had suspected that time travel might have some strange side effects, but this? Her body was reduced yet "enlarged" in unhelpful ways. Even the clothes she had chosen had been replaced with an unfamiliar tight sweater. All of her meticulous planning was for naught. She hoped that her assistant knew the equipment well enough to bring her back. Unfortunately, what was left of him was standing right behind her.
