Focus on Shrinking
Has anyone noticed that a vast majority of shrinking stories, the focus is not on the process of shrinking but on the interactions between the shrunken victim and the "giant" world? Or that the process is so slow and drawn out that the story becomes a novel?
For me, that's one big thing that I like about animal TF stories and frustrates me about shrinking stories: in the TF stories, you can focus on the process, the feelings, etc of the change, while in the shrinking stories it's quicker or too slow. Anyone else see this? |
