I've seen it before, but I must say, it never gets old to hear the song "Iron Man" during a movie about Iron man.

Though, I prefer this one -

You know that a movie is in trouble when the TRAILER has blatant plot holes! (And yes I'm talking about the real trailer, not the farts one.)

It's a comic. All plot holes will be retconned at a later date. All retcons are subject to retconning without notice.

"This? This isn't a plot hole. It's a mystery left as an exercise to the reader."

There are forgivable minor details.
There are fantasy elements that we can accept because it is fun.

But then there is the terrorist who is so stupid that he doesn't bother to check if his prisoner is building a missile or an iron-man suit?! Which he finishes in a cave, in a DAY?

Well, if you look back in time, Tony Stark was captured by Vietnamese terrorists. Why both the Vietnamese (back then) and the current terrorists didn't bother check up on a guy they thought was still injured due to a piece of shrapnel tearing his heart? I don't know. You tell me. Maybe, just maybe, they thought he wouldn't be capable of building a super suit. Like something of that caliber was unthinkable. Impossible, even.

Its a comic book movie, so its best not to think too hard them.

I don't know about the history beyond what I saw in the trailer, but they have the terrorist telling him "You have until tomorrow to assemble my missile." so he clearly knows that Tony Stark is capable of major things.

There are plenty of good comic book movies. This isn't one of them.

Hey, I'm no big fan of Iron Man. Tony Stark is an uber douche. But this movie might actually turn out okay. Not horrible like Crap, I mean Catwoman. So lets not jump the gun just yet and wait to see how it turns out.

I'm assuming he buys more time, it'd take a lot longer than one day to build the suit.
