Re: Midna BE Story
New Ilia piece.
'' Ilia tried to catch sleep; but the odd diamond shone brightly even with only the moonlight to reflect. It seemed to willingly tease her- if she turned the other way or pulled the sheet over her head it seemed to shine thrice as bright, so she saw it anyway. More and more, she had the urge to get rid of it: and strangely, it almost seemed as if the diamond wanted to get rid of Ilia. She turned back to it- it was no longer attached to the floor- it simply lay there, smooth and still reflecting the light like the moon itself- as though it could see the sun through the night. Ilia lay still to think when she noticed her heartbeat was slightly faster than usual. There was almost no difference, and yet there was. Often when she lay still and thought, she could hear her heart, and many times had she counted the heartbeats while laying still. A very weak feeling- one that she could only notice when absolutely still and concentrated- ran through her veins. She decided to blame it on the irritation the diamond caused, and she threw her pillow on the gem. Though from under the pillow, it shone much brighter, the pillow still offered more protection than her bare eyes. She pulled the sheet over her eyes, and so the light was nearly blocked. She fell in an unpeaceful sleep involving a girl in an inn and a girl on a farm. The next day she woke up, feeling quite refreshed. She stepped out of bed, and got dressed. She looked at the pillow on the floor, and picked it up. For a second she thought the diamond was gone- but when she looked closely, it was still there. It reflected no light whatsoever, and seemed invisible- it looked like a piece of glass, while yesterday it had looked like a gem. She became aware of whispers outside, and listened. Midna and Link had quietly walked to her door, and were discussing what to do. ?Link, we could knock, but what if her father opens the door? A voloptuous Twili is not exactly common in this town,? she said. Link hated to disturb the mayor so early in the morning, and he didn?t know what to do- in answer he shrugged his shoulders. Ilia quickly got dressed, and noticed that wasn?t so easy to do quickly. ?Agh!?, she said, after pulling her clothes over her chest. Her breasts left a strangely obvious imprint in her shirt, where they had not done so before. She, not too troubled, picked up the diamond and hurried for the door after this discovery. It had the same shape as before, but this was hardly noticable because of it?s perfect transparancy. Ilia opened the door, startling both Link and Midna. ? Good morning,? she said. ? I kept it safe as I promised- but could you please explain more?? ? We better go to a quiet place,?, said Midna. ? The best place to go would be the Ordon Spring,? answered Ilia. The three of them headed there- looking around, they saw the village was still asleep. It was so quiet they could hear goats in the distance. The birds sang their quiet songs in a language that Link knew he could understand if he were a wolf. So, they came to the edge of the Faron Woods, in the Ordon Spring. There, they said by the shallow water and started explaining. They went through their adventure until Zant had released an ancient curse on Midna, which fortunately did not kill her. Before the curse could be completed, she took milk- but the curse then made her breasts grow. After a long story they came where the Imp curse was lifted, and then to the Palace of Twilight where the curse was removed from Midna- but not destroyed- it had escaped in many directions, and Midna pointed out where some pieces of the curse still floated high in the sky. Then they came to the diamond. Ilia?s jaw dropped at hearing she was cursed. ? So, I will have the same figure as you?,? she asked Midna, forgetting a slight impoliteness in her question. ? In time- and if we don?t lift the curse soon, you could be a lot... bigger,? Midna answered. Ilia was scared now. ? How do we lift this curse?,? she asked, hoping to hear something relieving. ? We?re not sure- the scroll said you need a damaged or weak sample of the curse to stop the curse itself,? Midna answered. ? I was cursed by a potion, and a potion is easy to weaken; that simply happens in time. But this diamond might be a whole lot harder to even damage a little bit,? Midna said. Link grabbed his bomb bag. Ilia gave him the diamond ( Midna was careful not to touch it ). He lay it down, and surrounded it with bombs. Nine to be exact. They all walked a distance away from it and Link shot an arrow- the explosion was deafening and it woke up the people in the nearest houses. Some seconds later, the diamond fell back on the earth- upon examination it didn?t have the slightest scratch. The three were puzzled: How could this part of the curse be stopped?'' |
