I love Kevin Smiths interactions with them..like when he would go to their protests and hold up a sign about how the daughter was hot.

Apparently he was part of the reason why their daughter LEFT their church. At least we redeemed the hot one.

There are 2,600,000 Muslim citizens of the United states. So far, less than 20 committed acts of terrorism. That's 0.000007%. Harassing innocent people because of perceived stereotypes is not acceptable.
The FBI knew these guys had gone to Russia for "training" with a radical muslim group. They put up a youtube list linking jihad propaganda. Anyone who has bothered to look into the Russians dealings with terrorists would know about the Chechen terrorist attacks that have been going on for quite some time. Recall the russians gassed a school that had been taken hostage a few years ago.

These two should have been watched more closely. The FBI dropped the ball, in part because it was spending all its time training to watch the tea party and christian groups who haven't killed anybody, much to the disappointment of US media.

While the majority of muslims are not Jihadists, a large percentage due support its actions either financially, or as part of the general abuse of minorities in muslim dominated areas. Look at Egypt, where minority Copts have been attacked repeatedly, often with the aid of the Egyptian police.

If you want to end the violence, you need to confront the violence that is promoted or ignored even by the peaceful muslims. There needs to be a shift in attitude in Islam or the violence will continue to escalate.

Familiar though I'm sure you are with the FBI's internal goings on and procedures, I'm going to go ahead and doubt that.

A large percentage? Do you have anything to back up that ridiculous opinion, or are you just pulling vague ideas out of your ass?

Let's not even go there.

Re: Bombing in Boston

I just dislike the whole "right wingers v. left wingers: who's killed more" argument. It feels too much like pointing fingers at one "side" or the other, as though the psychos have anything to do with their mainstream counterparts. It's all done for political one-upsmanship, and it's a waste of time. Terrorism is terrorism.

And he's right, anyway. Or at least half right. He specifically said that the "Tea Party" never killed anyone. He was wrong in propagating this silly notion that the government can't fight terrorism and watch right wing extremist at the same time (and in the asserting that the Tea Party is who they were watching to begin with), but he was right that the Tea Party movement itself hasn't killed anyone. You said right wing extremists, not him.

Christian groups, on the other hand...that's a horse of a different color. But in any case, I don't see any value in finger pointing.

Re: Bombing in Boston

The implication is right-wing groups aren't murderous while left-wing groups are.

"[D]idn't murder anyone" is a dreadful baseline for decency.

I was not making such an argument. I was making a argument that the claim "Has not killed anyone" was inaccurate

I assumed he was refering to the types of groups that the government was watching when he said Tea party as he had said

Either he is wrong on what he claimed the FBI was watching out of suspected terrorist tendencies or he misspoke and was wrong about their innocence.

Re: Bombing in Boston

What really bothers me is that Tsarnaev's mother is already calling them paintbombs, not real blood.

Really?

I mean, is there any way the Justice Department can write off a warrant on a couple hundred dollars worth of shoplifting, so this ostrich can tell Heather Abbott that she was just paintbombed and should stop toeing the party line?

I bet she wouldn't have the balls, as well she shouldn't.

She needs to come to grips with what her sons did.

I doubt she believes what she's saying. She could be as shady as her kids. She's on the federal terror database too (or was according to some sources. Don't want to sound like I think I know what I'm talking about because I don't. Just an onlooker here.)
