Re: Shadowlord Inc

Didn't Dragonaide go around asking people for the ips of people he didn't like? People who just complained about the lack of updates after they donated money? Not bloody right.

Even dutchbull whom half his material is based off donations and references. Dragonaide actually goes out and buys whole cartoon series and movies for the sake of content. Though he does some egotistic at times, you cant really blame him. His site doesnt get that much support as of late. And hes starting to not see the worth of putting forth such effort If it goes with no feedback. Which, honestly has to do with what occurred In the past and not wholly advertising his site on different sites. But despite that, he DOES have a great many things that you cant find elsewhere. Maybe not as great quality and low resolution, but at least you get something.
I suppose at that point though his site traffic and appreciation depends on his ability to draw consumers. I don't recall felonies as part of Dutchbull's rap, and his content is in higher res (where available) and he doesn't seem to limit content to his own tastes.

Even if Dragonaide goes out of his way to make sacrifices for adding content, like actually buying it, if its in lower resolutions and not in favorable genre's of the vast majority of relevant parties I cant help but think he's a moron. You don't attract an audience by saying I do all this painful stuff for you, you do it by saying all this awesome stuff you like is here.

And by not waving your epeen in everyone's face.

Don't be so cocksure. How many other sites are devoted to cataloging transformation clips from TV and film? The only other real competitor is Dutchbull's site, and while it is superb, I'm sure Dutchbull would agree that his collection is not as wide-ranging as Dragoniade's.
And before anyone starts getting snarky, let me say that I am not associated with Dragioniade and have no dealings with him. Putting aside any issues about his relationship or conduct with the Process, I am simply stating an objective view about his website.
Yeah, you got your points... but just two more comments to this (personally I believe that this doesn't deserve such time):

I've been visiting his website many years ago, when he was one of the few who had a large list of "everything" out there, so as you said, it could have been considered as a small encyclopedia of TFs (call it transfopedia xD). But then I began to lost interest, mainly because there was much material, but most of it was not watchable, and the few videos one could have a look were in a ridiculous low quality, even for the standards of those days (maybe 2008 or 2009). So paying a visit there became pointless... and the funniest thing was when they "put" something there, and you could only see a screenshot and a title (translation: thanks for nothing).

And second: I don't share his "catalogation" criteria. I mean, he decided just to restrict himself to PG shows and scenes, and save for certain exceptions, they completely lack interest to me. I understand that some people prefer TF scenes that way and I respect that, but from my point of view, the collection becomes "incomplete" automatically. And as a conclusion, having more videos doesn't mean it "wide range". To the contrary, it becomes too restricted (btw, I prefer Dutchbull site).

But well, everyone has its personal tastes, right?

Re: Shadowlord Inc

I first visited the site back in 2005, and, at the time, it was a Godsend. I was put off myself by how he handled himself, especially during that big hiatus, when he was asking for donations to bring the site back. The whole martyr syndrome, combined with him being an ass with regards to anyone who didn't share his narrow view on transformation media was just pathetic. At this point, I don't think anyone who is familiar with any of that stuff wants to support him. In addition, quality > quantity. For the most part, many of his clips are quite frankly underwhelming. That, more than anything is why his site has become largely forgotten.

First I've heard of Dutchbull. Thanks for the heads up; found a few cool clips there.

Just checked it out nice site overall...though navigation on Chrome at least is pretty frustrating the mouse over menus keep resetting and some of the links don't match the correct vids but over all good selection lot of stuff I had not seen before.
