I was able to see the pictures, even on my dialup. I opened each image in a new tab, using Chrome, although Firefox would work too. Pixiv's sites (and a few other "Japanese" sites) are a bit funny, I have trouble with it even if I'm on DSL, but usually I can view them if I open the images alone in a new tab or window.
