It was either episode 4 or 5... maybe 3. There's also a scene where a girl cuts her tail off and transforms into a vampire. That's the last episode. Just scrub through the episodes, it doesn't take long. That's how I found most of the scenes.

The only thing I saw the even remotely resembled what you described was a psychic channeling the spirit of a murder victim. Her eyes darkened and she writhed a bit, it wasn't the werewolf girl transforming at all. I don't think they revealed the werewolf girl to be a werewolf until the episode that was already mentioned, not even hinted at.

This. The series as a whole was a murder mystery wrapped in a bunch of other themes. The female werewolf scene is the "big reveal" of the killer, so I highly doubt they would have given it away before then. (Also why I feel they dropped the ball by shorting us on the transformation.)

It's in the finale. I will try my best to post on on Thursday if someone else has not already attempted it. It's literally one shot and the tail flinches slightly. It's not as great as I'd hoped but at least it's on a female and we get a decent look at it. It's not a werewolf's tail either, from what I understand. But apparently, in the show, when werewolves die they become vampires. So maybe she cuts off her tail (she is a werewolf), dies from blood loss, and that explains why she is a vampire when she regains consciousness.

I don't know what the tail had to do with them being vampires, but I do know it had nothing to do with being a werewolf. There were only two werewolves in the series: Peter and Christina. That's it.

To clear up the tail thing...that girl wasn't a werewolf, the "tail" was a physical deformity, she cut it because she wanted to get rid of it, the act however ended up killing her. However, meeting death by your own hand turns you into a Vampire in Hemlock Grove (not too sure if you have to be of specific decent in order to BECOME a Vampire after suicide, but that is what triggers it anyways).

Hey guys, sorry to bump a thread that's two and a half years old, but I ended up discovering something that may or may not be common knowledge. There is another female werewolf in Hemlock Grove, though she's killed off before she even manages a complete transformation into her wolf form. This is actually good news for me because her TF doesn't involve skin ripping at all- just a lot of writhing and moaning which does it for me.

Should warn those that haven't seen it that this is an extremely partial transformation. She doesn't get farther than eyes and claws. Also note that he cell mate pretty brutally murders her shortly into her transformation, something I'm personally not fond of at all. Lastly, the girl is pregnant, whatever that means to you. With that in mind, it's a really halfway decent quintessential werewolf scene, with great sound effects, a cutaway to the moon and a very competent acting job from the werewolf. If you've already seen this I apologize, it was just a shocking find for me and I felt the need to share.
