Re: Is there a connection between a TF fetish and wanting new experiences?
Ehh, I'm not sure. I wouldn't say I like novelty more than the next person. When it comes to my TF interest, there are plenty of TFs that I find too strange to enjoy. And even outside the TF context, the list on Wikipedia doesn't really describe me well:
The ability to adapt rapidly to extreme change Depends on what's meant by "adapting rapidly". I can adjust to change fairly quickly, though I usually do this by clinging to something familiar. A distaste or downright loathing of tradition, repetition, and routine Definitely not me. I have my fair share of traditions and routines that I follow. I can't remember the last time I've gone to bed without making myself a cup of tea first, for example. Even if it means walking to the convenience store in the rain a 10:00 p.m. to buy tea, milk, or sugar if I discover that I'm out A tendency to become bored quickly with old things I can play Diablo 3 for hours. 'Nuff said. A desire, bordering on obsession in some cases, to experience novelty From my tea example, I'd say I'm more like the opposite. A corresponding and related desire to create novelty by creating or achieving something and/or by stirring social or other forms of unrest. Nope. Nothing against creating novelty, but I can't really say I have a desire to do that for novelty's sake.
