She-Hulk to be Cancelled

Hi there,


Though I have been entertaining some ambivalence in other circles about the latest SH series, I happened very recently upon some interesting, and perhaps disappointing, information. It would seem that, as found here http://comicbook.com/2014/10/21/its-...ulk-cancelled/ and sundry other related sources, that the newest She-Hulk series, with Charles Soule and Javier Pulido, is to be cancelled after its twelfth issue in the new year, seemingly.


Though a number of different reasons have been proffered for the cancellation, I was curious as to how others here may feel about it; knowing that She-Hulk is a singularly remarkable figure, though one that has proven divisive and sometimes misbegotten too, to others.

i found it interesting. i mean who else other than daredevil would represent steve rogers. think they'll wrap up the blue folder mystery at least?

Jesus, I just bought the trade last week. At least they can't possibly end this series as badly as they ended the last one.

Also everyone should be reading this because it's fantastic.

The story was maybe good, but I really don't like the style... yes, it's original, but I always prefered the classical realistic style of drawing from other authors.

I'm really disappointed to hear so many people say they dislike the art. I guess with as insular as the comic book community has gotten there's become a very narrow taste pallet.

It is simply the fact that the comic looks like a semi-proffesional artist work. If I had seen it on deviantart I would have appreciated the effort and encouraged him to enhance his skills, but for a professional artist with a (supposed) professional work, it simply does not reach the minimum expected for something that is (I understand) well paid. You can have a personal style, but inside that it could be good or bad. E.g.: look at the guy with glasses one, he has the same pose, same drawing and so on, looking like a "copy and paste" thing. And the colors and poses are simply plain. And the facial expressions are the worst of all: one could know about the talent of an artist simply by having a look at that.
Sorry, but the comic is far below from what is expected to be in a mainstream commercial product.

I think the art point has been flouged enough so I'll stray from that, but I was really quite enjoying the story. I've always liked an immersive fictional world so I rather enjoyed seeing some of the more benign aspects of running a legal firm in the Marvel universe. It'll be disappointing to see it go, but I guess it just hasn't managed to make the cut.

I call bull, i think they are canceling it because they want to rather than poor sales.

Maybe, but it does seem weird that after all the effort they put into (yet another) female character push that they'd pull the plug unless the sales weren't there.

She hulk is one of my favourite comic heroinesa dn i loved the stories but like others hate that style of art shown in the newest series.

And i hate to see another series with her ending as i ahte the way general way marvel treats quite anumber of series lately ( and i do npt speak about those..uhh....events)
