The Slingshot Effect

I like the concept quite a bit. I'd love to see more of it in GTS/SW/BE stuff in particular. Especially when someone "undeserving" gains benefit for a while. i.e. The mean girl becoming a giant bully and then shrinking into a twerp. OR... The flat-chested girl gets giant boobs and ditches her old friends for the popular crowd, only to wind up shorter and flatter than ever at the end.

I also like stories where the character winds up with a "souvenir". She becomes a 100 foot giantess and by the end is left 7 feet tall. Kind of the opposite of the slingshot effect.

I agree with everything you've said. Here's a story with a "souvenir" element: Married couple finds a bracelet that when worn turns you into the ideal lover of the person you are nearest. They discover that prolonged use leaves a residue effect.
