This. DRM increases production costs. Increased production costs increase Price. Increased Price leads to piracy. And to combat that piracy, Increased amounts of DRM are used.... And so on and so forth.

Okay, first off Jolly Jack's work is awesome and that sucks to hear it getting pirated. Of course everything gets pirated eventually these days *sigh*

Second, Hindu at least you tried. Some don't even do that, so there's something to feel good about. You already got a full rant from half the regulars, so you don't need to hear it again.

And my third point, which is utterly off topic: DRM is an absolutely nonsensical joke. I can prove this.

1.) This line of text is my copyrighted material that I want to protect. It is readable by anyone who has legally acquired it.

2.) This line of text is my DRM. It's the magic software that stops you from retyping or recopying my first line of text and handing it to people.

See how screwed DRM is? It's a hopeless feat that currently works by using goofy tricks to confuse whatever does the copying. All of those tricks are bypassable given the right info.

The only DRM that actually works is your own conscience. If it doesn't stop you, nothing else will.

yeah ge-hentai used to be terrible for it, every now and again you would see tons of artwork put up from pay sites, but the sites gotten better now, or they have finallu started paying attention. unfortunatly this is the internet, we can try as hard as we can but people are still going to share paysite work with others. some people just take the whole " its the internet everything is free" a little too seriously
