I think so, against the white background it pops out quite a bit, rather than having to compete with a rendered background. I'm not an artist, so I can't say if the shading is off, but I think I like that coloring style better than I like the ones with the background.

I think you should try to work a bit more on perspective using those simple shapes when drawing your characters. Learning perspective/foreshortnening adds A LOT to a drawing.

Do you use a mouse when you draw?

I use a really crappy really cheap drawing tablet I bought for like 20 bucks at a liquidation store over 6 years ago. It works, which is the extent of it's abilitys. Also I have a grip like a gorilla that I can't fix that pushes my pen though most solid objects. Just the fact that I can draw without rendering my table a pile of broken shards is amazing enough.

Perspective eh? I'll look that one up for next time.

Have you tried doing more painterly works then? Because I suppose you still have some pressure sensitivity left in that tablet of yours.

Eh, painting isn't really my 'thing'. ^^;

Yeah, surprisingly the tablet works still even after several hundred tons of pressure was put into it. I'd buy a new one, but thats both retardedy expensive for a stupidly small drawing space and one hell of a way to render hundreds of dollars worth of tablets into dust with my iron grasp. I should just get into the business of crushing heads for money.

Maybe you should just learn to be light on your hands.

Y'know, I work for a company that has a collections department... They does their work out of a van, and underneath the logo on the side is a pair of mama's old baseball bats. I think... maybe I know a place you can fit in, kid.
